Dr. Michael Cheng & Dr. Michelle Cheng

Zero stars if I could for Michelle Cheng. I never write negative reviews on here as you can see but this takes it to the next level. Like the other negative comments here, she was very rude and unprofessional to me. I’ve ignored it many many times and given chances but it was all too much when she took out her anger on me for an argument she had with my optometrist for not getting the paperwork she required on my eye test. I had nothing to do with it! I’m sitting there in her office and she goes on and on yelling at me why I continue to go to that optometrist and why I pay her fees and that I should go to her optometrist nearby instead. It’s MY choice! I don’t tell you where you should shop and eat? She was basically questioning my decisions and embarrassing me speaking so loudly that patients waiting in the lobby must’ve heard since I got a giggle from one when I later left. I felt very intimidated, a side of her like nothing I’ve ever seen in over 12 years. Truly unbelievable, I was in shock how she was down talking me in a condescending manner. I just sat there listening to her and nodding my head agreeing with her so she wouldn’t get more angry but it didn’t help.It didn’t stop there. Following my blood test I was supposed to visit her to review the results like I always do but obviously after my last visit I did not want to speak or see her. I felt very uncomfortable to do so. She continued to have her staff do the dirty work and blow up my phone multiple times and even emailing me to come in and review my results. I decided to reply to the email stating no I will not be coming in for this blood review, only this time (Until I cool down and once again forgive her). All I wanted was a simple apology. It was very clear I was not saying I do not want to come in ever again.Instead of offering an apology, as any understanding person would do, and perhaps realizing how unprofessional she was with me, I instead get a letter in the mail today stating she is no longer providing services to me and that I find a new doctor asap. Very immature and disappointed in her for taking the easy way out instead of confronting her mistake and wrongdoings. I am deeply offended and disgusted of her disrespectful selfish action.I highly suggest everyone be very careful when picking your family doctor.Wish her the best and thank you for all the years of your help, let’s part ways as you wish.Joe

My wife has been a patient of Dr Michael Cheng's for over 35 years, myself 30 years or so. His care for both of us has been stellar--we love him and consider him a Friend as well as our Doctor". Dr Michelle Cheng has taken on both our daughter and son

Called in to inquire for an appointment due to a work injury. Since recently married with my husband ( who had been a patient at this clinic for over 20 years), I had moved far away from my old town so this was the first place my husband recommended. However when the receptionists found out that I was a new name requesting to get an appointment, she quickly changed her tone and said abruptly “we’re not taking new clients”. Then when I had explained the situation she responded very crassly saying “go to your family doctor”. I was in such a disbelief at how rude her message came across to people who are seeking medical attention. I then awkwardly just said “ok..” as she hung up before I could even say anything else.I would rate a 1 star but I didn’t want to do injustice to Dr.Cheng who have been helping my husband for all these years.

I have found Dr Cheng to be very thorough and helpful with my health issues at all times. She is very knowledgeable and accomodating about all of my needs, which, until now, in my later years, have become more frequent! She makes suggestions and recommendations in a factual manner, based on science, and ensures that I have all the information required to make decisions about treatments at all times. I am very thankful to have a very sympathetic and thorough doctor whom I trust.

Very happy to have found Dr. Michelle Cheng for my family doc. She is clear, straightforward, professional, caring and honest. She addresses my questions with medical expertise and evidence-based practice. The office staff are friendly and professional and appointments are easily made. Dr. Cheng values punctuality which is important to me when making appts.

My wife had just received a blocked call on her mobile phone tonight at 10:06pm. Of course she would answer as my mom in-law is at a retirement home and she has been admitted to emergency 3 times in the last 2 weeks.The caller is Dr Micael Cheng! My wife and myself, our kids are speechless as Dr. Cheng would call us at 10:06pm. Can't find the proper words to express our gratitude for Dr.Cheng's unconditional care and relentless help to make the quality of life better for our mom.We feel that the seniors at the retirement home are lucky to have him as their doctor. Before moving to the GTA almost 7 years ago, I moved around a lot. I lived in several places which means I went through several doctors. I can honestly say without hesitation, Dr. Michelle Cheng is the best doctor I have ever had. She is professional and very thorough. You respect her, she respects you. I have struggled with weight problems my entire life and she has been so caring and supportive of me with this struggle as well as my mental health. She is also my toddlers family doctor and her care for him is just as wonderful. I seriously cannot say enough about this woman. My only negative is, I wish I could take her with us if we ever move away from the area!

Been a patient here for over 7 years. Dr. Michelle Cheng is very knowledgeable and thorough. A very attentive and caring physician. She goes above and beyond to help her patients. Throughout the pandemic, her support and guidance has been instrumental to my health and I can’t thank her enough!

Dr. Michelle Cheng has changed my life for the better. She is an excellent, patient, and giving doctor. She goes out of her way to ensure the best care is given to me, often sacrificing her own self and time to make sure that I am okay. She always ensures that I receive the best treatments and resources for care. I honestly would not know where I would be without her supporting me throughout my health care needs. Would highly recommend her as a doctor as she focuses both on prevention and treatment of medical issues.
