Place is slow as snails, cashier needs major training and needs to kick it up a few notches. Originally gave 2 stars but waited so long decided to leave a 1 star.

I purchased a propane camping stove but then later that night returned it because I had found another stove at a competitor’s for less. The manager at HH said he would price match the other stove, even though it wasn’t the same brand. I decided to accept the price match and returned the competitor’s camping stove.…. The competitor had many options for stoves (but not the HH brand); HH only had one option, a Martin. I had previous experience with the brand I had purchased from the competitor, but not with the Martin. I can honestly say the Martin is a superior stove and I’m even more grateful now for the price match. I was very impressed with the quality of the stove’s material, and also how it works. It actually has a low setting that doesn’t blow out!Thank you Dan (HH manager) for your amazing service. I am very much enjoying my stove and will continue to go to HH first.

This heat wave is especially hard on elderly. Downey's staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to quickly choose the right AC unit over the phone and have it held for pick up. Mom's smile could be seen" over the phone as she enjoyed the coolness later that same day."

Didn't have item I was looking for. Cashier not friendly.*Update* Thank you for your response Jonathan, I do Love your store and staff is usually friendly. 2020 has created supply issues so lack of inventory is understandable. Perhaps the cashier was having a bad day. I was extremely friendly, greeted her with an exuberant Hello, and it fell on dead ears. When leaving I said have a wonderful day, again nor a single word.I will grant grace for this isolated incident and continue to shop there.Thank you

During a recent visit to speak with the store manager I found him to be unwilling to discuss an issue involving a purchase made a few days earlier. His manner was arrogant and completely outrageous. I have shopped at this store since they moved from their old location. I was happy to support a Riverview business but I will never shop there again. It was very apparent that this particular individual really didn't care one bit about this customer so I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Nothing against Home Hardware but rather that I am perfectly happy never to deal with this particular individual/store again. So long... Home Hardware Riverview. Kent and Home Depot could not possibly have customer relations as poor as this one.

Very disappointed with this business. Bought material to build a deck. First of all, some of our order was missing. Second, some of the wood for the deck flooring was so warped that we have to buy more because we can't work with what we received. We need more material, but we will not be buying there!

Anytime I go in there I feel like I’m an annoyance. Paint guy was really nice and helpful but not the old fellah at the contract counter. I don’t want to reply to emails. It’s nice of the manager to offer this.
