We had been served cold food for 2 times in a row. Out waitress’s name was Abby, she was very nice and handled the situation very professionally comparing her manager. She is doing way better than her manager. Thanks to Abby for her wonderful service !

Stopped in for the rooftop to have a cocktail and take advantage of the recent nice weather. Drinks were okay but the view and rooftop seating were great!

My bridal party and I recently had an amazing experience at Jack Astors. The rooftop section of the restaurant offers a breathtaking view that made my dining experience perfect. It was such a treat to enjoy delicious food and drinks while taking in the scenic surroundings.Speaking of drinks, Jack Astors truly exceeded my expectations. The selection was impressive, and each drink I tried was absolutely phenomenal. From perfectly mixed cocktails to refreshing mocktails, they catered to all preferences and made sure to deliver an unforgettable beverage experience.Our waitress deserves special recognition for her hard work. Despite the rooftop being busy, she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor made us feel valued as customers, and she made sure our experience was seamless from start to finish.When it comes to the food, Jack Astors did not disappoint. The wait time for our meals was around 30 minutes, which was reasonable given the crowd. And let me tell you, the wait was well worth it. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also incredibly flavorful. The menu offered a diverse range of options, and each bite was a burst of yumminess.

Went for a nice family dinner after the cirque show. Seated immediately, ordered drinks and 2 garlic cheese loafs. We were almost finished our drinks about 20 mins in and I inquired about our breads. Wait staff checked on them and come back to say, they were coming with our mains. We ordered them with our drinks , about 15 minutes prior to our mains. When the pan loafs came they were dry and almost burnt. We were all starving , so we forced it down and decided we would just bring the other game and try to save it there. My wife ordered a soup , which was very chunky. Oldest daughter ordered a Cesar salad , which was soggy and seemed like it sat in the sun all day and the lettuce tasted like dirt. Youngest ordered pita pizza , didn't care for it at all, luckily my oldest had something to eat. I had the special stacked chicken quesdilla, was OK but nothing fantastic. The waitress asked us how our food was , we mentioned the defects and went to speak with her manager . She brought the bill and said the manager had pro-moded" the items we didn't like. This was a total of $7.50 off our $130 bill. Luckily this paid for my daughter's happy meal at McDonald's on the way home. We are from out of town and enjoy visiting this restaurant whenever we come to Kingston

Visited on a Saturday evening, there was about a 15min wait for the rooftop patio, which was fine. Ordered nachos and drinks. It was a full patio. Food was great, just a bit slow on service. We asked for salsa with our nachos, but the waitress never ended up coming back with salsa.

What a great place to have a mid day snack - the rooftop! Great view of the water and the town clock. Service was a bit slow for the amount of staff, but I think it was because so many were in training, getting ready for the summer crowd. The staff were very friendly, just service a bit slow. Enjoyed our nachos, tacos and beer. Perfect respite from enjoying the sights of Kingston.
