Awesome experience. I needed two new batteries for my Chrysler Pacifica (one main and one auxiliary). Canadian Tire was sending me to Walker Road to pick up one, and Amherstburg to get the other. Collectively they would have been $399+tax.A neighbour suggested I try Powerhouse. Called, they had both in stock, they were waiting for me when I walked in the door, and it was $300+tax. They saved me an hour and a half of driving and $100!

I've been going here for a few years. This is what I know about them. This place is not a fancy battery boutique, it's a place filled with people that know all about batteries and starters and do real work. There are multiple locations, they're all good. They sell better quality batteries than you can find at Canadian Tire or some other big store. Their prices are fair and beat online retailers in my experience.But most importantly is they know batteries, you don't need to google which battery you need, you don't need to understand amp-hours you can just ask someone. Someone who wants your business and actually does this work and is not some person on youtube reviewing batteries in their driveway. It's refreshing to NOT have to search something to death just to pick a battery.

They have a huge variety from small Kabota tractors to small cars and pick-up. Usually about 2/3 of the price of large chain stores. Great warranty and helpful staff.

Genuine and honest folks. Helped me save the cost of replacing alternator ($450) in my car. They tested and find out issue was with the battery and not the alternator which other large store/garage suggested.

Phenomenal service!!! I was fully prepared to swap out three of my batteries as I had lost power. They suggested that I bring the old ones in for testing. In doing so, they that only one in the bank was bad. I ended up only replacing the one, but will definitely continue to purchase all of my batteries here.
