Sandman Hotel Hamilton

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in Hamilton. Room was clean and the staff were nice. Our room faced the highway and it was still amazingly quiet.Found the bed too soft but I think that’s a personal preference.Nice rain shower in the bathroom.

Where should I begin?Everything form check in to time I checked out was extraordinaryBeautiful hotel, clean and welcoming, some of the best staff I have ever had accommodate me.One guy that that took care of me and went above and beyond was Ethan.I would recommend anyone to looking for great service to come to this location due Ethan’s grace and hospitality..

Sanique is the nicest most amazing person I’ve met. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay with my family was pleasant. I arrived at 7am and even though check in isn’t until 4pm she upgraded my room so I can get into a room instead of waiting in the lobby. Thank you so much! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family as well as I will definitely be back!!

This property is outstanding, clean, terrific location and the entire Sandman Team is next level. I’ve been staying here for work and couldn’t have made a better decision to stay here. I would like to give a huge shout out for amazing, courteous and phenomenal customer service to Jerry & Ethan at the Front Desk. These two gentlemen are going to be legendary in the hotel industry. The Housekeeping Department staff are also a huge asset to this property. Thank you to the entire Sandman Hotel Hamilton Team for making my many stays comfortable and welcoming. We stayed for a Friday wedding; arriving late on Thursday and leaving on Saturday. Cost to stay the two nights in a relatively small room was pushing the limits of good taste. ;) Yes, it is a renovated place, with new bathrooms (you need lots of time and patience to figure out the shower - style over function). But... the hotel is sitting in the middle of a parking lot, one side faces very busy highway, the other overlooks a shopping mall. There are city busses idling half the night under your window, trucks delivering things and creating so much noise early in the morning. Not very impressed with the value for money" considering the amount of noise all around this place...I added a night ahead of my existing reservation and it created somewhat of a mix-up in their computer; however Jerry Vidal

I am a quality assurance auditor for another resort and the quality of cleanliness was amazing. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the public areas. I would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area. The only downside to our room was the noise of the highway and people running up and down the halls all night, waking up our children.

We had such a positive experience at the Sandman! Kristal the sales manager was so fantastic with our group. We had a wedding close by, and from start to finish she was so pleasant to work with. She helped make sure all our guests had rooms to stay, there was lovely upgrades due to the amount of people who had booked within our party, and everyone was extremely comfortable and happy at the stay. We are so appreciative, and you should have great confidence if doing a group booking, or just staying individually at the Sandman in Hamilton. Thank you for everything Kristal!

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, and in great condition. The service at the front desk was exceptional. We had the pleasure of dealing with Gerry as well as another young man named Ethan(I believe). They went over and above to accommodate our needs. We will definitely return again soon!

Found pillows too plump. I prefer flatter ones. Found cooling devices difficult to adjust and were quite dirty. Biggest compliant would be noise from QEW. Instead of droning on about all the amenities like dispensing machines and others, a customer should be offered the room that avails itself the least background noise.
