Drummac Septic Services

We had an emergency septic issue that effected our ability to open our restaurant. Drummac responded right away. Joanne Robitaille was very helpful and kept communication easy. Thank you Joanne for your help!! We greatly appreciate it!

On October 24, 2019, Wind River Septic Services (a.k.a. Drummac") did visit our house in rural Vermont to clean ("pump out") our septic tank. The technician arrived promptly

Person was extremely rude on the phone when we explained that we needed a tech for the alarm system on the septic system to be present when they were pumping. She says that was not their policy. After explaining that he needed to be there and they were unwilling to help me coordinate their company and this tech’s appt, she continued to be rude and condescending. We used Drummac for years but the company was bought out and boy does it show!!!Do not recommend at all!!!

Called for an estimate to pump out a 1,000 gallon septic system and to locate the depth of the line going from the tank to the house (a length of only 12 feet & needed before we can have some excavation work done). They quoted me $318.80 for the pumping and a whopping $265.00 an hour to put a camera down to locate the line. I then called Senesac and Working Dog Septic who both quoted around $260 to pump and ZERO to locate the line to the house, as it's a simple process once they have the tank open. It's a shame that Drummac has gotten too big for its britches. They'll get no more of my money.

We had always used Drummac for our septic service over the years. Since they were bought out by Wind River not only has the prices skyrocketed, but the service has tanked pun intended).We had to have service on a tank in December- no one was in residence since October. Brian, the manager, was initially good at getting back to me and sending me photos as the service was completed. A pipe from the house into the tank was replaced (i was told it was not properly attached at installation) and a pipe that was sticking out above the opening was to be fixed. i requested the pipe to the leach field be checked as well.Upon arrival at our summer camp in May - we found the pipe still sticking up above grade of the opening. It was not fixed and the waste from the house would have to go up about 10 inches into the tank. Obviously this was not working. The pipe to the leach flied was now disconnected as well.i phoned the office for 2 days requesting a call back to discuss the issue. i have not gotten a call back.The fix that we paid a large amount of money for was not completed and no one would take responsibility.

I needed my tank pumped and filter cleaned. They were willing to come out the same day for an upcharge, but I was able to wait a day to save some $$. They arrived the next day, did the pump/cleaning, and there was no drama. All good. I will use them again.

Our house was built in 1900 and has a lot of its original pipes and fittings. Drummac came out and went into our crawl space and looked at the plumbing, then said they couldn't do anything because they couldn't gain access. They walked out, charging us their minimum of $150, but for some reason, it didn't actually get charged, so I had to call and give them my card number again after getting a couple bills in the mail.I was going to rate this one star for the fact they rendered no services and charged us the full amount anyway, but I just spent 15 minutes on the phone with a manager (I'm almost NEVER one to ask to talk to a manager), and he did end up helping us out, so I'm rating it three stars. So, although I can't speak to their services, they do at least have good management. So kudos to Drummac this time. They turned a potential dozen bad reviews on various outlets into a mostly satisfied customer that may end up using them again.

I did not have a good service this time.By the past ( 20 years)Drummac was was primary service to clean my septic tank and fix my pump station.Two weeks ago , my alarm from my pump station was on.I call to make an appointment and they were support to call me before coming. I have to go somewhere first.Of course they came home first...They cleaned well my septic tank first , but the tech guy cannot open the man hole on my pump station.They call me to tell me the situation. I was back home haft hour later in same time that a second technician came and just pull out the cover easily...They fix the problem but came with a bill of more than 2 hours work for at the moment the second man came took 50 minutes....I call and let a message to Mr Medor, never call me back.The payment for the pumping service was take right away on my credit card that I had to give before the service without tell me the amount or show me a bill or send me a bill.I have to call back the day after they email me the bill for the pumping.Today I received the final bill for the pump station.They only option to pay was by check and mail it at Wind River Environmental, no phone number where I can call to paid by phone by card......Poor customer service.Armand Morin

Scheduled an appointment two and a half weeks roughly in advance to have our septic pumped on November 12th.After taking the day off from work (which was never told I didn't need to) I called to get an eta on the driver and told Ma'am

We are currently renting a porta potty while our house is being built, the service we have received has been absolutely amazing. They come once a week to fully clean out the unit and restock it for us. I highly recommend their services!!
