Tri Group Management

Tri-Group has been uncooperative with helping meet the needs of its tenants. They do not take responsibility for previously broken appliances, such as an air conditioning unit that was running up the hydro bill but had never worked, and do not reimburse the tenants for money spent on maintaining the company's problems with their own funds. They sent a notice of eviction without any warning of filing an N4, something we could have certainly brought to a judge's attention if we weren't so eager to be rid of Tri-Group. My mother, who rented the apartment, is a clean, cultured woman who cleans houses for a LIVING and who has never had any trouble with previous landlords. She got along well with the neighbours in her apartment complex and took care of her house impecably. The harassment received Tri-Group was uncalled for and unfair, and they are horribly unprofessional in handling tenants. I would never recommend living underneath this building management and I would encourage Tri-Group to smarten up, I've seen your employee reviews as well and from what I can tell you treat the people who work for you even worse than you treat your tenants. Shut yourselves down, you're not making this world any better and I don't know how you sleep at night knowing how much grief you cause people.

We recently applied for one of their properties. We gave the deposit as instructed and we'd get it back if we weren't approved. We had nothing to worry about (decent credit, great income...working out of province and she can't work due to surgery). Low n behold...declined. We were shocked. They never called our references or current landlord. They refunded the deposit and asked if we wanted a reason why we were declined. I said yes. They wouldn't give us one or return the emails. Seems like they're nice to you until you get declined...then you don't exist. How hard is it to reply if you asked a potential client if they wanted a reason???

I have had such a wonderful experience with Tri-Group I'm going back to rent from them again. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful looking forward to this move with them. Thank you so much for everything!!!

I called to view one of their properties in Petrolia, but was bombarded with questions when all I wanted to do was view the property.Her response was it's because of safety. But asking if I have pets, if I'm renting now, or if I'm ok with a 1 year lease, has nothing to do with safety.Just had a bad feeling with the call and never really had a chance to ask my questions.I read the reviews afterwards and absolutely believe them to be true.

Poor quality in caring clients.

I moved out of a Tri Group rental and they refused to give me back my $150 deposit for a pool key. They claimed that they applied it to getting carpet steam cleaned when I had the carpets cleaned by a professional cleaner. The rest was taken for the last month's rent that they had that didn't include the rent increase from when I moved in... given all that I had to contact them to send remainder of money which I would not have had to do if I was dealing with a reputable company.
