this is the condition of the section 8 approved home my children and i received. After living in the home for only two months while fighting since day two for someone to fix things and deal with the flooding of feces I was finally issued another voucher and told to find another place which I had to pay thousands of dollars for after paying thousands to move into this so-called section 8 approved home . I have still not received my security deposit or my rent back. section 8 is not helping me at all with the real estate company they do business with not returning any of my money but yet section 8 still paid them even after the contract was cancelled for the home failing 2 inspections while i was living in the home. also i was paying and estimated portion of rent through section 8 that was supposed to be returned to me do to the contract being cancelled before it could get established .my rights were clearly violated in this home by the real estate company and section 8. this place was clearly never supposed to pass inspection! my case worker ms banks ignores me and treats me as if ive done something wrong for speaking up and wanting a livable home for my family!!

This is the worst section 8 company I’ve experienced! They don’t answer the phone, they barely respond to your emails & they don’t offer you the help that’s needed! I’ve been trying to find me a place for months and now my voucher is expired because they offered no help & wouldn’t look over my income again to increase the amount.

They are the worst until a lot of landlords doesn't want to deal with Wayne County??They don't return phone calls or emails??I'm stuck with back payment of thousands of dollars . Because they didn't do their job nor didn't the landlord or myself received anything through the mail from them. I've been trying to find out who's the head person over all all them. Because I want a hearing, but there's no way to get in contact with anyone

Detroit Housing Commission is a FRAUD! I went there on October 9, 2017 to meet with Anthony Watson, the Compliance Manager at that time, regarding receiving 2 Lease Addendums from Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office. He failed to correct the issue which ultimately lead to my family being illegally evicted on March 13, 2018. There were a number of violations committed by Detroit Housing Commission, Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office, Premier Property Management as well as Detroit HUD Field Office against my family within 0ctober 9, 2017 thru March 13, 2018. They all work together to cover up housing fraud. Detroit 36th Court is also involved. On March 7, 2018, Robert Beale of Premier Property Management had Johnathon Mapp, Baliff at Detroit 36th District Court kicked in my door about 3:30 PM when my minor daughter, age 15, was at home alone. I was actually at Detroit HUD Field Office pleading my case with documented proof that my family had not violated HUD Rules & Regulations. The next day my family resigned the lease again & 5 days later Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office & Premier Property Management illegally evicted my family. They were angry because I asked for copies of documents that proved they enforced a tenant rent increase 2 months before the effective date which is a violation according to HUD Rules & Regulations. There's no justice in the housing system in Detroit. The main people in working in the housing programs are working against families for their greediness for money. They don't care about the people.

Terrible! They come to work everyday just to do nothing. Never help, they’re just open to say they have a housing program. They don’t care about nobody. It’s not them on the streets so they don’t are!!!!!
