John and Bonnie make a great team and I highly recommend their shop and services. I have bought and had bicycles sold and repaired by them and they provide excellent service and a great deal of knowledge. They are also extremely personable!

I’ve had many experiences with baile shops (expensive, questionable service, high pressure, etc) but John at HOH was the most honest, straightforward operator I have ever met. I usually do repairs on my own bike but sometimes you run into an issue better taken of by a shop. In this case, John was honest reasonably beyond the current industry standard, and quick. I have bought parts online because of the savings, but I will think twice next time because I want Job han to be there when I need service and the only way to do so is to patronize his local shop in Qualicum Beach

worst bike store customer service ever!! hostile and rude!today we took our sons bike to head over wheels, he is in the QBES bike club, we got a form from her school saying this shop would give a 10% discount being in the bike club..........when i dropped off the bike I told the older fellow that we were hoping to get the bike tires replaced in time for the bike club after school today...........however when we went back to pick it up and asked about the discount, he was rude and walked away from us, so when walking outside I asked him if he agreed to the discount that was on the form, he stared aggressively at me and saidyou didnt say it was a bike camp bike!" i politely reminded him that we did tell him earlier

What a great experience with John. He fixed the brakes on my 92 year old Mother's walker in nothing flat - no song and dance - just leave it, I will fix it - maybe 15 minutes max. A far cry from any other Walker Repair shop in the area.

My husband and I just bought bikes here. We haven’t ridden in over 20 years and once we started shopping around we found we were overwhelmed with all the choices. Then we found this shop - John and Bonnie were so helpful and patient, and took the time to explain all our options. We are very happy to have taken their advice on what we bought. John is very friendly and fast and efficient at repairs.I have used his service several times over the last dozen years and was always happy with the way him and Bonnie dealt with things, I have ordered an E-bike that should be here in a couple of weeks. I strongly recommend this shop.

Love these guys. What a small town bike shop should be. I do most of my own work on my road bike but make sure I buy local for accessories and parts. John did a great job repacking the bearings on my wife’s old bike and recommended some other improvements we will go back for in the fall. These guys are low key but sincere and beat the heck out of MEC or Amazon every single day. Glad to have them here.

My husband gave me an e-bike for my birthday and I took it on its first grocery run today. Well I totally overloaded the front basket with heavy groceries and when I went to pedal away, the handle bars totally twisted sideways and I crashed. I made it over to this bike shop and the owner John, was fabulous! He not only tightened the bolt that caused the mishap, he also check the bike over and made adjustments and tightened several other things that were needed to make sure I made it home safely. John was very kind and I won't forget what he did for me. I highly recommend his shop to anyone who is looking for bike accessories, or to purchase a bike. Thank you so very much John! (Deb)

My father, a 65 year old semi-retired local to Qualicum was personally attacked and insulted today by the staff at this bike shop. He stopped by the shop this evening August 26, 2016 to ask a simple question. He is interested in buying a bike and didn't know about what size, type, or style to get. The middle aged sales woman told my father in a completely condescending and confrontational manner, I have no time to talk to you about buying a cheap bike from a friend. I'M in the business of selling bikes!" My father a semi-retired human resources professional has never experienced this level of disrespect and humiliation in his entire life. I am embarrassed to call Head Over Wheels Cycle & Sport a local business. Neither I nor my family or friends (which are extensive) will ever shop here. If you need a bike or repairs LOOK ELSEWHERE."

Great service at Head Over Wheels. John offered up a great brake adjustment without an appointment. Highly recommend this shop!
