Our group of four did the Hot Spring Cove tour. It included a great boardwalk hike and a few hours of whale watching during the travel up to the Cove. It was an unbelievable experience for all of us. Our guide James was polite and very knowledgeable of the area.

We had an excellent experience with our guide, Moses. The big companies come with big, crowded boats. We were in a comfortable boat with just five guests. They take the time to ensure a great experience, finding whales, sharing stories and adding on some other interesting sights along the way.Highly recommend.

Our tour was with Moses and he was an amazing tour guide. The atmosphere on his boat was very laidback and he had in-depth knowledge of the area , the history of the people here, the animals and sea life, and had 70 years on the waters around Tofino. We had planned on a 2 hour whale watching tour but told us that we might not see whales so we went on the adventure wilderness tour. We saw bears, sea otters, seals and then he took us from the channel tour to the open water where we got to see a grey whale after all. Our 2 hour tour was stretched to a 3.5 hour tour and we loved every moment of it. This tour was on a 24 foot aluminum craft, we could walk freely about the cabin and stern section of the boat. At all one point we were beside another operator in the same area and we felt sorry for the 8 patrons who were all crammed together on a small zodiac craft and could not even stand up. We came upon one bear on the shore and we were able to move to the bow for better pictures. We will definitely recommend this tour to all our close friends and family! Thanks Moses and Clara for an amazing experience!

Everything as advertised. Moses Martin and his wife, Carla, were informative and helpful when we checked in and made reservations for the next day tour. Their son, James, was our captain and guide who was informative and gave us much information about the Clayoquot history and territories and of course we saw a wolf, an eagle, sea lions, a grey whale and black bears. We had 2.5 hours on our own to hike to the natural hot springs before our return trip (where the black bears were spotted). I highly recommend this fine charter company. Perhaps try Carla’s canned salmon while you’re there.

Incredible day out with Moses! Saw some magnificent whales, super cute otters and lots of sea lions. Was really interesting to hear about the area from a local. Would highly recommend the hot springs and wildlife tour!

I'd recommend to anyone. We did the trip to the hot springs which was just amazing. What I enjoyed the most was the boat ride there and back. I really enjoyed all the scenery and the wildlife sightings. Our guide/captain James was amazing! Don't be deceived by his age, he is very knowledgeable of the waters and really knows his stuff. We felt safe and confident in his abilities, plus he did a wonderful job of making the trip very memorable. On the way back James was kind enough to circle back around Flores Island so that we could see grey whales which was truly amazing.

What a great tour to the Hot Springs that our wonderful guide Skeeze took us on. The boat was clean and comfortable, and we saw whales on the way there and back! I really wanted to see Sea Otters and Skeeze asked around on the radio until he found one for me (it was adorable). The hot springs were also fantastic and we went early enough so it wasn’t too crowded. We loved it.Also felt really great to support First Nations businesses! When I booked an Elder advised me to go early in the morning because of water conditions and he was not wrong. Overall a wonderful experience - thank you!

I can't speak highly enough of Elder Moses Martin and his generosity in sharing his wisdom and knowledge with us! We took the whale tour as well as the history tour and both were amazing. Elder Martin (chief of his community for over a decade) went about 25-30 miles out to sea where most of the whale tours didn't go, because he knows this area so well. That day most tours saw no whales, but we saw three! We also saw sea lions and otters. On the history tour, we learned so much about the area through Elder Martin's stories about how Nuu Cha Nulth fishermen went whaling in canoes, how they used every bit of the whale for the sustenance of the community, how months-long vision quests into the mountains made you strong, how Elder Martin resisted the pernicious influence not only of the residential school built close by, but also the encroachments of corporate logging during the Clayoquot Sound protests. I can speak of this experience only in superlatives. Thank you, Elder Martin!

The office staff was incredibly friendly and helpful... even helped us book dinner reservations, above and beyond gracious. Our guide, Eugene Tom, was the best. He found five bear sightings for us and was able to take our small group (only four of us) right up to the shore. He is definitely a bear whisperer" and probably a whale whisperer
