I’ve been self sharpening my Shun 8 inch chef knife for a little while now and it was time for the professional to take a look. Jamie was quick and professional, had great communication and was incredibly fairly priced. I will be going back for my knife sharpening needs and would recommend him to anyone else needing a sharpening!

I brought my prized hatchet to Jamie after I chipped the blade. What would have been multiple hours of work for me to do, Jamie did in under an hour. Very reasonably priced and friendly to deal with. Recommend.

Highly recommended. Professional communication, very skilled craftmanship, fair pricing.If you have a tool that means a lot to you, like the axe that belonged to your great-grandfather who used it to cut firewood to keep his family alive in the great winter of 1934, don’t use a Robo-sharpen 4000 ®. Do yourself a favour and entrust it to Jamie.I found this axe head in the Ottawa River and Jamie expertly restored it.

Recently found Sharp by Jamie and so happy we did! We had a backlog of knives needing sharpening, Japanese blade, German blade, favourite hunting knives, sewing shears, and a few misc kitchen knives. Jamie did an excellent job on all of them, including fixing the broken tip on my favourite blade. Highly recommend. Service was timely, fairly priced and professional.

Jamie did an amazing job on my kitchen knives. First time getting them sharpened after purchasing them two years ago. I tested one out after Jamie finished with them and cutting a potato was like slicing butter. I think they’re sharper than when I bought them.Fast (two-hour turnaround), reasonably priced and easy pickup at his home business. He also fixed a chip in one of my knives and you would never even know it was there. Would highly recommend and will be going back when my knives need a little tune up. Thanks Jamie!

Jamie was very friendly, patient and caring. He is easy to talk to and a great guy! He's genuinely interested in what he does and he is quick and an enthusiastic expert! His fees are extremely competitive. I entrusted my $900 bowie knife, and some very special heirlooms to him and he took care of them like they were his own.
