I’ve been a student here since September. Sensei Jerry is a great teacher and super knowledgeable, a real life ninja. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about going to take the plunge, you won’t regret it. I’ve also on one occasion had to use the knowledge and skills learned here, it was extremely effective and ended the incident without any injuries. Thanks Sensei Jerry!

My children started training in1997, at the ages of six and three, with Sensei Jerry. I transferred over two years later. We all trained Shogen-Ryu Karate and Jiu-Jitsu with Sensei Jerry and many of his guest instructors. All three of us graduated to Black Belt. In 2007, Sensei Jerry, my son and I travelled to Mexico to compete in the World Congress of Amateur Athletes where all three of us won medals in black belt categories. In 2010, my daughter won Canadian Champion Black Belt in PMA. Jerry is a dedicated and sincere Sensei. Training with him has continued to help us build confidence and achieve our goals.

I’ve known Sensei Jerry for many years and have found him to be a superb instructor.His students learn more then self defence.They develop self esteem and in a family friendly atmosphere.I would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone interested in learning self defence, martial arts or simply increasing their fitness level with a alternative means than a local gym.
