Black Sheep Yarns
I needed a certain size of circular knitting needles so I stopped here to check if they had that size, which they did. The ladies were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I was able to get the needles in the size that I needed. I'll definitely be returning to buy yarns, etc.

Absolutely the BEST yarn shop in Canada in my opinion. The staff are always friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The owner stocks the most wonderful yarn and lets not forget the shipping speed is second to none. I have been in the store in person and it is a wonderful shop to visit, highly recommend.

I’ve come here a few times and love browsing their yarn selection. They have some popular yarns used by ravelry designers that can’t be found elsewhere in the LM. the ladies working here are helpful and kind.

Very friendly and knowledgable, welcoming and supportive staff. I got advice on yarn for a pattern, they rummaged through a stack ofsimilarly-coloured mohair to find the right match, and I overheard them introducing new crafters to Ravelry. Will definitely come back!

We are so fortunate to have this wonderful local yarn treasure close by! Came in this morning to be awakened by the fresh, clean and meticulously organized, cute little store. The owner of the store is just so wonderful and kind, always offering suggestions even if you are on a tight budget (and never making any judgements). New yarns are constantly coming in to tantalize our woolly senses. I wished that I could have walls of gorgeous yarns like the store but sadly, my hubby would not be too keen...and that is ok because with a store that amazing, I will be making many more visits!

I am an amateur knitter and cannot say enough about this store and it's employees. The wool selection is good, lots of colors and a variety of yarns at reasonable prices. I have chatted with 3 different employees during my sweater knitting process. They have all been super kind and very helpful. I truly appreciate them! I have been to other stores nearer to my home and did not receive the kindness that this store gave me. I do know I can google for information but sometimes its so nice to have a personal perspective and chat.Thank you so much

This store is amazing for luxurious specialty yarns, but limited almost only to those, and only in small skeins. I came here to purchase some yarn to make a blanket but they did not have larger skeins of yarn above 100g really. Only for smaller projects, unless you want to buy 8 or 10 skeins. Which would be 200$+ here. The woman working was very patient, kind and willing to help! Customer service was wonderful!

I visit this place when visiting my in laws, so about once per year. Their yarns are for the true yarn enthusiast, not much for cheap acrylic yarns here - all natural fibers! A truly beautiful selection of knitting books. The staff are helpful. The selection isn't huge for their yarns, but they've chosen what they have there very well and they always have something unique and hard to find. Parking isn't always the easiest there, but eventually if you drive around you'll find something.

Visited the store today with my sister and was so welcomed. The employee working there helped us out so much and seemed genuinely interested to direct us in the right direction. She took the extra effort to make sure we had the perfect yarn for our project! So excited to visit again in the future!

Black Sheep Yarns
I went to visit the store yesterday as I was having a knitting crisis and needed some help to get my nearly completed project back on track. The lady that helped me (Kat) had the patience of a Saint, and had the most wonderful sense of humor. This shop is so well organized and carries so many beautiful yarns. I love coming here and looking at the beautiful completed projects that I believe the owner has created. I highly recommend shopping here and supporting a local business.
