Apple Dental Implant Centre - Kerrisdale

My first review was removed for some reason!!I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed here June 2018 and it was the biggest mistake of my life.The moment I woke up I instantly felt something was wrong.I could not feel my tongue and explained that something did not feel right to my dentist.I was in a lot of pain and had swelling post surgery. I called the reception to get me in contact with Dr. Tony Gill but he did not reach out to me once.Not only that but I was not prescribed any pain medication and was told to just rinse my mouth with salt water and take Advil if needed.Because Dr. Gill did not work Thursday's + Fridays and my surgery was on a Wednesday so I needed to wait 4 days until I could go in to the office to have him check what could be causing the issue.I was told that the feeling would come back in a few weeks and to not worry about it.All he did was use a syringe to clean out the sockets. He did an x-ray to see if anything was torn but apparently found nothing.There was no concern and no follow up.I came in a second time to have him review the issue again but he could not tell me what was wrong and referred me to another dentist.I am completely disgusted in the way I was treated here.I even remember Dr. Gill telling his assistant that she should have put numbing cream on my teeth first before placing the needle in my gums and also saying that this isn't going to be easy" as they tried to find my vein when injecting the anesthetic.Completely unprofessional.It is now over 1 year later and I still have nerve damage

This place is a horror house, BEWARE!!!Having seen their add on the internet,I called this place and booked an hour consultation session for an implant.The dentist I saw (Dr. Gill) did not meet any of the standards a professional fellow at his age should have.First of all he was very impolite in the way he spoke.Second of all he had a WRONG diagnosis by telling me that somehow my wisdom tooth was infected in the root and my molar tooth toot was (I quote) “ filled with puss” and that I needed to extract both of them. Which would put me on the need of not just one implant for a missing tooth but at least two implants and two extractions!!At the end I paid $100 for the CT and they gave me a two page quotation with a total of $8,900.And when I asked for a copy of the CT scan they sat me waiting for longer than 20 minutes to write it on the CD.Thank goodness I was smart enough to ask for a second opinion before extracting my healthy looking teeth, and I booked an appointment with another dental office for the week after.I took the CD to avoid the extra radiation as well as the charge only to find that the CD was totally blank, so I ended up redoing it and to my great surprise my dentist saw no signs of infection after two X-rays and on CT.I was obviously so angry so I called and I asked for an explanation from Apple Dental Centre, but all I got in response was a bunch of none-sense, and no apologies.Also please note that they do not provide any choices in implants they use and there are several brands with of implants in the market with different qualities.When I had my implant done at the second office I was given a choice of different types and brands of implants at different prices and the highest quality implant offered at the price of the Apple Dental!I wish I has never come across their add.

I work closely with Dr. Trevor Treasure and know him to be an excellent oral surgeon. I also rode with Dr. Trevor Treasure in the 2018 BC Ride to Conquer Cancer. He is dedicated to raising money to support oral cancer research. Also, Apple Dental Implant Centre is a generous supporter of oral cancer research. I think Dr. Treasure is fantastic and the entire team at Apple Dental Implant Centre are wonderful.

Extraction and implant process were swift, pain free, and professional. Very happy with the experience.

My overall impression is that you get what you get with this company. If you have any concerns with the work they do you are made to feel as though you are being too picky.

The work done here is good but the way they do business is not so good. I had an implant done and when the crown was fitted, it was too tight. Dr Gill's reaction to this issue was trying to sell me three more jobs. When I left, the referral" for unwanted surgery was pushed in front of me. In spite of this

Horrible experience. Got my implants done in Edmonton and they were solid for 2 years. The bottom one came lose and the doctor here did nothing to fix it. They broke the first screw and wanted me to wait a week for the proper screw" that costed $120 plus $400 for the procedure to put the new screw in. Now

Great staff. I was nervous and anxious and from the reception, technician and to finally meeting my dentist it was a positive and non-anxious experience. I will definitely go back.

Very professional and efficient. Great follow up service. Removal of one tooth and one implant post put in, only took one hour. Very impressed with their patient care.

I recently had a bone graft and implant done by Dr. Gill. I did some research first and talked to a few other dentists as it is costly . The initial consult for the quote from Apple was free .I confirmed he was up on the latest technology first before deciding to go with Dr. Gill. His price was also less then several of the others who did not include all the steps he included but had them as extra if needed. It took close to a year from start to finish .I found him to be patient and careful to make sure things were done right the first time . He also explained each step as it was done . He even saw me a few extra times ( ie when I had concerns that the stitches had come out, but they had not ).It was done as per the time schedule he outlined initially and on budget with no surprises . I am happy with the cost and result.
