Golden Prairie Cup

As a first time participant, couldn't have asked for a better platform to step on stage. Golden prairie cup 2022 was held at a beautiful venue downtown Saskatoon, .The judges, the organizers, the hosts, the volunteers are not only professional with everyhting that they do, but also very friendly and welcoming. They were open to questions, offering to help with anything that you might think of as it's your first time and the curiosity to know how everything works is always there. Great athletes take part in the show. Big names show up at the event you never know who will turn up at the next years show.Back stage is another experience where you're pumping with other athletes to go on stage, you're getting little tips as you go. Overall experience was amazing. Recommend anyone and everyone to take part in the next years show or to even go and support other athletes and enjoy the show.

My first show out of my province and I can say it was the best experience from the venue to the people who have hosted it. I was very impress with the hard work and dedication to the people and staff and volunteers and goldan prairie cup and have met so many people that have a positive mind and attitude and as well kind and spirited great time and consider to many others who wanna join to go and do it, you will not regret this show and you will literrally be inspired because this made me feel that I was capable of doing something. Great job to all you guys. My respect.

Right from the time of signing up for GPC to walking through the doors and being welcomed with a big hug from the show promoter, Melina, it was a fantastic experience thanks to all of the hard work of the promoters, volunteers, sponsors, judges, and everyone else who helped make this special event what it is. They provided professionalism, passion, and so much love to the athletes. Competing is an extreme sport for a reason & when you can have a seamless show experience, it makes everything that much easier for all the hard work that's been put in. Highly recommend GPC 10/10 - thanks again for a great show!

Great show, met lots of good people, had an amazing time. Hotel was very accommodating. Tanning was flawless, and very friendly professionals. Got free swag bags for all competitors, as well as T-shirts, baked good, and the medals are beautiful. Very memorable weekend. Thanks to all the volunteers and hosts.

My last competition is a memorable experience with local concession booths from businesses I visit on a regular basis. Great DJ, Alisphotography and Rey great team. Thanks to Golden Prairie Cup team for orcastrating this show. This is my first competition and a pleasure to meet the team on a personal level.

Golden Prarrie Cup was a good experience. I strongly reccomend any regional level athlete consider participating at the show.Some unique touches were put into the show..such as show casing shelter dogs at intermission, handing out cookies and bake goods to athletes and everyone was made to feel welcome regardless of level of experience.Also the host city ( Saskatoon) is driving distsnce for 3 provinces and the city is large enough to posses the commodities you require yet small enough to find your way around.Host hotel had microwaves and refridgerators in all rooms.The promotion team went above and beyond leading up to the show with providing necessary information and keeping everyone stoked.-Jordan Janvier 2022 overall GPC bodybuilding Champion :)

Competing at the Golden Prairie was a great experience. It was a very well organized show, the promoters did a fantastic job with making a fun experience for the athletes. Well done team and volunteers!!

So happy that Golden Praire Cup was the show I choose to be my first! The atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was so supportive. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly from tanning to showtime it was all like clockwork! Will definitely do this show again! If you haven't, you should! If I could rate this 10 stars, I would.As I first time competitor with the GPC, I was not expecting the amount of warm welcomes I got from the staff. From Melina to ReyRey to everyone backstage including Bombshell Productions. And my coach!Chatting with one of the competitors post show, she mentioned “Your first show is usually sometimes the loneliest”. And she’s right, it was a bit lonely. But I also ran into a couple folks I follow on IG. They made me feel welcomed to the point where I slowly started to open up and be myself.The one thing I took from this experience is that I want to be the energy that is brought backstage to those who are competing for the first time. I want to make others feel as welcomed as I did. I am so forever grateful to have been a part of this competition.I will definitely be back next year!
