I would definitely attend the Playhouse more often but buying tickets is a chore since COVID. Tried April 14/22 to purchase tickets. Calling the box office gets a voice mail that offers no solution. The web site is a tough navigation. Seating plan should be an easy find and it's not. Online tickets are auto-selected, no choice. So I logged out and decided to call Ticket Pro on April 19th. They confirmed the seat selection with Playhouse/Harvest is automatic when ordering online; no choice, no link to seat map. Ticket Pro were extremely helpful and I was able to select seats with them. The process, in my humble opinion, is just too cumbersome and flawed on the Playhouse end of things. Thank you

The Playhouse offers top entertainment in a beautiful theater with excellent accoustics. Enjoy touring the theater's mini art gallery before the show and sit in very comfortable seats in the balcony or main floor for the performance. The main lobby is stunningly designed and several ushers are always available to help you locate your seats. I was pleased with the bathroom renovations, clean, modern, spacious and bright. For those who wish to have beverages before or during the concerts, a bar is located near the theater's art gallery. It is always a total pleasure to visit the Playhouse.

Had a amazing time tonight at the playhouse. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They opened up the balcony for people to have a better view of the show. Left lots of room for people to find a good spot to see the screen. Really enjoyed watching a almost century old film while listening to live music. Definitely felt like I was in a time machine. Totally recommend people come and support local musicians and artists. Was also informed that the lord bevearbrooke hotel is opening up Thier steak and seafood restaurant again. Looking forward to a classic dinner and a show this winter.

It's not big, but it has enormous charm. I first went here as a child for a Susan Aglukark concert way back in the 90s. My family left in '01 and now I've returned in 2019. My first event there would be the Chinese New Year Gala as I had returned to Fredericton after being in China. The venue is not big, but it's design and style are timeless. I look forward to going to many more events here and adding these new tales to the memories I have from years ago.

We were not able to see a play here unfortunately, as it is the year of covid, but we toured the building and walked around outside. There is a very cool sculpture outside the playhouse that was probably my favourite of all I had seen in Fredericton.

Beautiful place, great staff… but.The sound volume is just insanely too high. It is painful and totally unnecessary. I used earplugs to “hear” the Banff film. It might be within the limits of what is considered safe, but it is the upper limit for sure and it should be reconsidered. Hearing loss from loud sounds is a reality.

So many memories at The Playhouse. Every time I go to see a show, they all come back to me. It has been a place of laughter, a place of tears, a place where I have seen such talent. The venue is comfortable, affordable and they also do a lot for the local art community. Glad we have such a place in Fredericton.
