Rented a canoe to go canoe camping this weekend, Gabby served us for both our pick up and drop off, and couldn't of have given us better service, even helped us print out park passes we had forgotten to print. 10/10 would recommend!

We would highly recommend renting from here. The equipment was great and the customer service was fantastic. We had so much fun with the Sea-doo we rented and it made the day very fun! We will rent from here again.

So happy with the service provided. My partner was using our canoe for a different trip so my Dad and I rented one. I was a little worried as I am used to my own canoe, however we were both very impressed. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating with pick up and drop off times. People at KAR have been really friendly and easy to deal with. By mistake we rented the wrong canoe, and they changed the rental on the fly, when we got there. Even more, we were late bringing the canoe back and Gabby stayed late to wait for us. Overall, excellent service.

Top-tier service. When I added a third canoe to my order, the team refunded the extra delivery fee within the day. Drivers were friendly and patient, helping us right to the edge of the water. Canoes were well-maintained and clean. Booking system was seamless. Hope they expand to Algonquin!

Always a great experience with Kawartha Adventure Rentals. Rental booking online is very easy and detailed description of equipment. Staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. Have been going there multiple times and will continue to rent from them for my back country trips into the highlands.

I can only say positive things about them. They gave us solid advice for our trip planning, booking over the phone and the delivery was easy. All the gear we got was in good shape.We, unfortunately, had to abort our trip halfway through because our dog got injured, and they were super accommodating: they even refunded us the unused days. I didn't ask for it and didn't expect it! I'd recommend their service and will rent from them again in the future.

Exceptional service! I rented a kayak for the weekend and communication with Gabby and the rest of the staff at Kawartha Adventure Rentals was seamless. The Kayak was delivered and picked up with no issues, deposit was returned right away -- it was a very stress free service. I would absolutely rent from them again. I highly recommend them.

Recently rented 2 canoes from this company for a portaging trip and had quite an unpleasant experience. Before choosing the canoes to rent I spoke with a representative on the phone who recommended the one person polyethylene canoe and another fiberglass canoe for a 3 person trip. Turns our the one person canoe was so heavy you needed at least two people to portage it, not to mention it was also terrible on the water. Long story short due to this very issue we had to cut our trip short and funny enough on the way back to base camp we spoke with another group who was returning and they also rented from this company. Turned out they were also leaving early due to a similar problem. The restitution we were offered was ridiculous and the bottom line is if you're going to rent canoes for a trip, do not rent it from this company!
