The Chapel At Minoru Park

I was not expecting to find such beautiful roses growing outside of the chapel. This place is an inspiration for amateur and professional photographers and allows you to revive in the presence of nature.

After meeting Allan at the Chapel at Minoru Park for our first site visit, we knew it would be the perfect setting for our intimate wedding ceremony of 30. Growing up across the street from the chapel, I had always admired the exterior but had never stepped inside until then-- The interior is well maintained, historic, and incredibly charming with the most beautiful stained glass and wood details.An exceedingly kind and thoughtful caretaker and owner, Allan made the experience feel seamless and so easy. He was professional, knowledgeable, and collaborative through the entire process-- even though we had a friend officiate the ceremony itself, Allan was still integral in planning, supporting our wedding rehearsal, coordinating music, and facilitating the paperwork. It was a perfect day and we cannot thank him and the Chapel Group enough!

Our wedding was on Sunday, June 7, 2020. It was literally just reopened after the lock down. We were so frustrated from March to May. However everything went amazingly well thanks to Allan and his Chapel team. We really appreciate their help for coordinating the wedding! Everything was beautiful! We understand it was not easy during such an unprecedented period. However Allan and his team made it!!The weather was perfect, the flower was absolutely fresh and beautiful! The music was touching. We thank the chapel group for setting up everything to make our wedding a special one. We are so grateful to be getting married at the Minoru Chapel.It was definitely one of the most memorable day in our life. Everything was great. We love it!!

We want to thank Minoru Chapel and their staff so much for everything with our wedding. The venue was stunning and intimate. We were very happy and it was a great evening. The harpist did a beautiful job and gave our wedding an elegant touch. The chapel bells ringing upon us leaving were a nice throwback. We were grateful for everything.

I had my Covid wedding at The Chapel at Minoru Park and it meant so much to my family and I since my parents got married at this same chapel back in 89. The chapel location is beautiful and the garden is well tended. The bonus points goes to all the furry bunnies running around ! I had a few photo bomb into my photos !

A fairytale like chapel. The chapel itself looks cute with colorful glass. The garden is fancy and flowers are planted inside a star shape barrier. Perfect photo location.

Beautiful chapel located in Minoru Park, Richmond. This small white wooden chapel was constructed in 1891 on the corner of River Road and Cambie Road from plan 109 supplied by the Methodist Board of Church Extension and was run by the Methodist Church, and later by the United Church.The chapel was originally built by the Fraser River so that it could easily be reached by boat as during that period Richmond had very few roads. The chapel was renovated and moved to Minoru Park in 1967. We had an outdoor ceremony, which was held just outside the Chapel at the Minoru Park. The ceremony was so amazing, beautiful, sweet and wholesome! We just feel so lucky to have met Allan! It was such a pleasure to have met him and work with him! He went for us above and beyond! He is the sweetest man! It was so incredibly easy to work with him! He took the time to meet with us on several occasions and promptly responded to any questions that we had! He arranged everything for us, including amazing photographer and beautiful harpist, which made everything so much easier. He made our day incredibly special! Highly recommend to have your ceremony at the Minoru Park!
