Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotel

Nice comfortable rooms. Moxie's and Sharksclub are conveniently inside the building. All the staff interacted with have been very friendly. The hotel is located right next to train tracks and can be quite noisy and shakes the building . I recommend booking a room on the park side as it is quiter. Overall a pretty nice hotel and the beds are more comfortable than most other hotels I have slept in. It is also a short walk to downtown. So convenient location.

The location, the building and the staff were excellent. I was disappointed by the state of the room we had. Tiles were peeling off of the jacuzzi tub, there was moisture damage on the ceiling in the bathroom and there was a gap in the floor transition between the bathroom and the bedroom. Also it would have been nice to have been warned about the noise from the trains beforehand. I was emailed a survey after my stay, posted this same info and received no feedback.

Decent room with the double queen suite but was poorly cleaned- the bed smelled like a man or sweat - don't know if it was the pillows or the mattress, but was gross! Lots of dings and Knicks in the room that were poorly and obviously patched, found a tablet of coated Advil along the baseboard of the bed that I'm grateful my small child didn't find and eat thinking it was candy. TV and remote difficult to use, and slept terribly as we were train side and they ran all night long. Continental breakfast would be an upgrade for this hotel. Great location, so close to Riverside park, minus the trains. Even with the in room earplugs and noise machine I couldn't sleep. Could not plug my phone in bedside as all the multiple outlets behind the bedside table were used. Booked with 4 guests but only 2 towels in the room. Great pool set up with the outdoor patio so parents don't have to sit in a hot pool room.

Was extremely impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is well maintained and clean and the location can't be beat. My room faced the park, which was lovely.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway in their suit with the jaquzzi.The rooms were clean, a bit strange of a layout.The train traffic did make it hard to sleep for a light sleeper.Would be helpful to know that when booking that those suits only face the train.Service was good.It was nice that the hotel was close to restaurants and easy access to walk or drive.

Was surprised we didn't hear the train at all. Window wouldn't close. The fellow that came to fix it said you just have to lift it when closing because the building has shifted. For the window to be out 1.5 inches that's not really a thing. Seemed like he didn't want to do anything about it. Also smelled like he had not showered in awhile. (Life choices I guess. Might need a new maintenance guy) everyone else at the hotel was amazing. The front desk girls are top notch very helpful. We loved the location very central. Little noisy at night from the park but only because it was memorial cup weekend.

Stayed here as part of a bus tour from Calgary to Vancouver.Moxie's was a great restaurant attached to the Hotel where we had a great dinner.Bit disappointed as when we arrived there were 3 buses and a pile of keys with no names so took a bit of sorting to get our rooms.Once in our room it was great.Could be noisy at night as there is a white noise machine and ear plugs in the room. It did n't worry me but the railway was just across the road.

Terrible. The hotel is located adjacent to a train track and trains come at all times. Bring ear plugs. Also, be prepared to wait as trains come and you can't access your hotel but from the rear.Also - no outlets worked in my room. None. Couldn't iron; couldn't charge my phone or laptop. I called at 10PM (once realizing) and they advised it would be an hour before someone could help. I had a 6am alarm, and they'd come at 11pm... terrible. Do not stay here.

Staff and room was great, checking in took longer than normal we did reserve but only an hour ahead. There was no pressure in the showers and I know it's not your fault but the stench outside was horrible. In the hallways it was also bad maybe try to get some air purifiers set up? Will likely be coming back.

We loved our stay at the hotel. We were so grateful for a complimentary room upgrade, enjoyed how close we were to everything, and loved the pool and hot tub. The little bit of feedback we have was that the room service did not check in on our room for the day we were there meaning we did not get a re-stock of coffee. The second morning I went down to the lobby for coffee instead and the bar was out of everything. When I asked the lady at the counter for help she just told me everything was over there. She did not assist or help at all. That is why I ranked the service as lower.
