The Peak of the Mountain is One of my most Beautiful places to go to. I would love to go there when the Moon is full but I am not sure if the gate would still be open around that time.

It was a really long hike to the top. The road is not open to the summit until noon. Great view. None like it. I hiked up the road with kids before it opened. Would be great for kids ５and up

Mount Douglas Summit Parking Lot
Not a lot of space here to park, so you may need to turn around when you get to the top of its full. Nice to have this parking area, including a washroom for those near the top, if you can’t walk up the trails or don’t want to. Very close to the summit and the lookout area, but still requires a bit of walking uphill.

Drive to the top and enjoy the view. Be careful when driving up and down. People are walking everywhere. Handicap ♿ parking is here.
