It’s a pleasure to shop here and always dangerous. I can never just pop in to have a look without leaving with a new garden project. I absolutely love the product and plants I’ve purchased from here and have always had great experiences shopping here. Definitely my favourite place to shop for gardening in town. Helpful staff, reasonable pricing, unique curated items, can’t really go wrong.

The birthplace of my plant love, also the best place on the island, if you consider amazing variety and price. Wonderful people, this place is a total gem.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection is great. Plants always look nice and healthy, and I've never brought anything home I thought has a pest problem. They also get in rare plants on occasion so it's a great place to check out. If you're looking for reasonably priced accessories and plant supplies, this should also be your first stop!

I found this little gem today. What a lovely garden centre. Tons of parking. Very welcoming. Well laid out.I found some unique, at least to me, specimens of plants. The variety was excellent, the plants healthy and locally grown and prices on par with a certain box store but better quality.The centre was just large enough; clean, organized, eith nice helpful staff.I hadn't realized the centre, in one form or another, had been there about 25 years!I loved their gifts store as well. There was so much to see; pieces by local artists, neat little knickknacks for your garden and more plants. It will be my go to place in the future for gifts and plants. Happy day

I always love coming here, even if it's just to browse the surprisingly large selection. Don't be dissuaded by all the outdoor plants either, there's lots of lovely houseplants inside.They're always very helpful when answering questions about care. They also carry lots of cool garden accessories and decorations.

Is there a zero stars? I was gifted two sets of pruners from this store of the same brand (these and bypass). BOTH broke the first time being used. Literally snapped apart in half.When I went to return the first ones there was no clear return policy, nothing in writing anywhere, and this is essentially a defective product... and now that it's happened again I will need to go through the same darn thing!Don't buy these is all I can say... And be aware that all returns are on a case by case basis rather than a set policy. And if the manager isn't there you're basically out of luck - come back another day (because we all have time for this).Won't be shopping here in future for this and the other reasons listed above. Hopefully nobody else gets to experience this, also sharp objects breaking while using them is dangerous, so it's a good thing nobody was injured- sliced tendons in the hand are no laughing matter. Anyway, don't buy these and I'd be careful re quality of whatever you do buy moving forward from this store.

The staff at Little Tree are the most knowledgeable out of all the other garden centres I've been to in Nanaimo. The plants are generally very healthy. Not sure what it is, but something about how all the plants and merchandise are arranged make shopping here always a pleasant experience.

Great place to shop if you are into indoor tropical plants, they carry a wide range from commonly found houseplants to more rare and hard to find variants and species, worth checking out, prices are competitive and for the enthusiast they bring in imported rare species of tropicals.Friendly staff, I enjoy plant hunting here and always stop by when in town!
