Best bakery in Ontario! BUT staff should always ensure baked goods that are packed in the WHITE cardboard are placed FIRST into a plastic bag and the brown bags on top. NOT the brown bags first into the plastic bag then the white box on top on the brown paper bags bc it falls sideways -basic physics. Also when taking a coffee order and bakery order on busy days, pls ensure you are getting customers BAKED GOODS FIRST and not the coffee orders on busy days. The employee serving me got my coffee orders first then blamed another employee for taking the baked good that someone behind me ordered.. that’s not really nice. I felt bad for the young girl being told she gave away my baked good as she knew nothing of it, she was just doing her job well and the one serving me couldn’t take accountability for not prioritizing baked goods over coffees on busy days. Tighten up.

Amazing Vegan Cake! Not being on top of things I had a hard time finding the right bakery to make a vegan cake for my son’s 1st birthday. Luckily, With the grain was my last minute saviour and the cake was beautiful and delicious too! Thank you Erin for making our son’s birthday even more special!

The almond croissants are the best ones I’ve ever had, and I would recommend everything else in there as well. Cakes decorations are amazingly done . Thanks . Highly impressed .

Tonns of goodies in there. Love their boston creams! I also get their Garlic and cheese loaf... next level.Only suggestion is... Make sure you eat your jelly filled doughnuts quick or else it starts to soften the bottom a bit.

Absolutely friendly staff but lemon curd filling for the croffin was horrendous. Nutella croffins are amazing though. Croissants need work as well as they’re too dense.

One of the best bakeries in the city (and that's saying a lot). Leave yourself time if you plan on going, there's usually a lineup given that the bakery can only hold 3-4 customers at once and their products are high demand.They have a rotating schedule of bread and pastries, so you could try something different every day of the week.I'm a fan of their farmer's loaf sourdough and the Lost Aviator coffee, which they also sell in bags to take home.With the Grain is a staple in Guelph. You'll love it.

One of my favorite bakeries in the world! The sourdough bread is so hearty and healthy. I haven't tried many desserts but they all look great. The prices are higher than the grocery store but worth it. They also have coffee.

Amazing pastries, delicious bread, fun seasonal items (such as gingerbread houses and valentines cookies) and solid coffee and tea! Such a great spot that has, appropriately, been a staple in Guelph for a long time.
