I have never been able to work in any other place where I am a somebody All the respect and admiration that has been given to me from the visiting Big Guys down to the students and back up again. I have learned more in my time at CFB Borden and even more so now during this hard time across the globe. My CAF,CFSATE and Cadet center are very much more than coworkers they have been FAMILY.

We pay our servicemen to poison us and our skies via ongoing chemtrail operations and there is not a single man with a shred of backbone to speak out. Shame on all of you.

The base is open to visitor. There is a museum on site and it’s free (donations welcome). There is also an outdoor military equipment display.

I kind of enjoyed my stay at this resort although theres not much to do besides drink and get high in your hotel room. Hotel buildings are all in pretty bad shape and dont have AC. Always the same breakfast and all the other meals are very bland. They force you to clean the resort grounds/do your own housekeeping and hotel staff will yell at you if its not good enough infront of the other guests. All management talks about is how they want you to go to their resort in Cold Lake... so i might just do that. Met a lot of nice people at this resort, but i dont plan on coming back.

1968 many happy memories. Like picnics on the tanks. We could walk everywhere as children. Swimming pools, movie theaters, baseball games etc. 25 cents to get into movies and 5 cent popcorn. We had the army or navy side to choose from. Shopping at the canteen. Gd times!

I was posted here from 1986 to 1990. It was a great base back then and there was tons to do. I was in T116 attached to the Huron Club. Loved the gyms and pools but hated a lot of the senior PERIs. I had a great time there. The last time I visited, the Base looked tired and run down. The nice thing was that the Circle Pine Golf Course was in excellent condition and the Canex had a great selection of stuff. I have many fond memories of the staff and students at Base Borden and hope it finds its second wind.

I spent a few years here in my teens! Loved the base as it had so much to offer. We had a teen club, movie theatre, roller rink, swimming pool and lots of good times! Is the base still active? Are the PMQ’s still there? Would love to hear about it! My father was in the army and from Borden we went to Germany.
