This is the only community center in plateau that actually gives really good resources to people in precarious situations. The languages course are fantastic, their level of education is very high and it’s a shame that can’t give a certificate. The food bank works pretty well and they’re always friendly. LGBTQI+ inclusive.

Back in 2004, when we had nothing, They helped us with immigration, transportation, food, lodging, mentoring, recreational activities, emotional support, social networking, employment, even a trip to Mont Tremblent and eventually led us to find our own space. Very thankful for their services and people that made it beautiful.

I study french there. The community is welcoming and ppl are very nice. Teachers are good. And they do a lot of activities and social work. You can volunteer.

This place is great for learning french (I don't know about other languages). There are always two instructors in each class, one from France (or Belgium/Switzerland) and the other from Quebec so that you will get used to both accents. The price is absolutely unbeatable and the quality is decent in spite of being old school. I would totally recommand. The only downside is that they only offer four levels.
