Ram Overhead Door Systems

I did an oops and damaged my garage door so that it would not close. I live in a colourful neighbourhood and was quite worried about having it stay open. They were able to come same day. I didn't get the name of the person who came as I was in a meeting, but he quickly repaired the damage. The price was totally reasonable. Super grateful for the speedy and efficient repair. Thank you.

Booked a consultation with a rep for my options. Had to miss work this. They never showed up. After I reached out, they admitted to placing the appointment in the wrong place on their calendar. Indeed admirable, however did not sit well with me. What other mistakes would be made along the way if I went with this company? Too Bad.

Rarely see service like this these days. Come in at 8am, on a Monday. Show my busted garage door spring. They take them, give me a quote in 2 minutes and a new set, made on premise, in 15 minutes. Wish there were more places like this. Thanks Ramdoors!

Avoid this company if you are in an emergency situation.Thank you for saying you would send a technician after I called you at 8:30 on a Friday. Giving me a 1-4pm window. Nobody showed up. Causing me to have to pay extra for an emergency weekend repair call from another company to come do the emergency work for us. Had someone called I could have at the least booked an appointment with another company and saved some money.Not even a call to tell us the technician was not coming. What a horrible way to treat a first time client.

The Sales guy Mike Minard was excellent. Made it an easy decision to go with Ram Doors. Answered our questions, explaining all options and worked with us to make it easy and smooth. The install was efficient and very clean. Beautiful product and great customer service Thank you Mike!

When my son drove the car through the garage door (he forgot about the roof rack and, yes, I still love him) I asked him to arrange the repair/ replacement. He chose Ram Doors because he thought it was the highest rated; turns out, no, it’s not highest rated, it’s simply the one paying for ad space at the top.The service tech they sent was very good; that's the one-star. Pleasant to deal with, seemed to know his stuff, and got the door working again. Given the damage, though, I wanted a replacement. I tried contacting their sales guy, Mike. He was consistently unavailable. Never answered his phone, didn’t return phone messages, so I ended up emailing him. I likely should’ve gone somewhere else at that point but didn’t.When I got a reply from Mike I indicated I was looking for a matching door, to the other two (undamaged) doors. Unfortunately the original manufacturer no longer services Canada. He told me doors don’t match, and I can get paint at a paint store… so completely unhelpful.In comparison, another company explained that ‘…different manufacturers have different embossments… even with 4 embossments per panel it doesn't mean it will match. Texturing and colour may also not be exact.” Great, let me know what to expect... Another company offered to bring a door panel sample, so I could see how close (or not) their door would be. All of them offered paint codes or paint chips right off the top.I’d sent close-up pics to Mike asking him if the styles matched. His response was that “It will have 4 squares.” Nice, thank you, apparently I’m not only blind but am also an idiot.When I asked for elaboration as to the texturing that, apparently, every other door manufacturer other than Ram knows about, I got a reply with multiple punctuation marks/ question marks, as if we were texting in high school. At that point I contacted three other companies, who were all very pleasant to work with, and were able to answer my questions without puerile answers.

Outstanding sales and installation experience. They knew what they were doing and the installation looks fantastic. I would highly recommend this company and the Garaga product they represent.

Love the new garage door! Everyone we spoke with was friendly and professional during the quoting, scheduling, and installation. Jackie's door style and colour suggestions fits the house perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

We recently had a new garage door installed by Sean and Jason from Ram Doors. They did an amazing job. They arrived bright and early, cheerful and polite. They took extra care while dismantling the old door and installing the new one. The previous home owner had finished the garage in quite an unorthodox way, but Sean and Jason were careful in doing what they needed to do in order to install the new door. They even relocated an old storage cabinet mounted on the wall that was going to impact the new rails. I couldn't be happier with the professional service I received, and since it has been installed, we have received over a dozen compliments on the new door from our neighbors and folks walking by !!
