You wouldn't think that a modest unassuming place would be so welcoming and of such high quality in every aspect. The service is personable, you are not a number. The food is home kitchen style and the karaoke night was so fun.

The server appeared to look at us more than a few times, yet didn't come to serve or greet us. We served ourselves. It wasn't busy at this time.Overall, very small but really friendly neighbourhood bar and good karaoke host..music not very loud. Comfortable, if you arrive early enough to get a seat :)

Food was decent. Great value. Service was friendly. Looking forward to trying out the other specials on the menu. Live near by so good stumbling distance home!

My girlfriends and I were looking for a place to enjoy karaoke in Kitchener and found this place on google. We called to confirm if they were doing karaoke last night and whoever answered the phone said yes, it started at 9. We came around midnight to have a couple drinks and sing a few songs. When we arrived we asked to start a tab, which they said they don't do tabs so we just bought a drink each. We sat down and listened to some karaoke songs and were impressed with the sense of community in the pub. Everyone was singing along and cheering the karaoke singers on. So we picked a song to sing and signed our name up on the list. After my friend sang 2 songs and I sang one (amongst other singers as well) my other friend went to sign her name up for her first song and was told basically she wasn't aloud. Since we didn't show up at 9 when karaoke started, we weren't entitled to sing at all. They never took the time to explain how their squeued karaoke list works so we could use it properly. Then one of the ladies who worked there but was drinking at the bar after her shift, I'm assuming, gave my friend the death stare like I've never seen before, after she sat down after asking about how she can sing a karaoke song. So we waited until close to see if he could call our name for karaoke but he never did. 15 minutes before close he called out for anyone who hasn't paid their tab to come to the bar to pay that off before close. Since we were told right from the beginning they don't do tabs, this was a bit alarming. It's clear they don't want anyone but the regulars there. They've lost out on all 3 of our business for the rest of the Corner Pub's existence. I have no respect for people who run business so poorly like this. Boos are cheap. I'm sure the food is too but the experience is so horrible we will never be back. It's funny because most of the people at the pub were singing along with us and dancing and having fun but it was the staff that were treating us like outsiders. Mad disrespect.

Walked in out of convenience. Expected more from a small mom/pop establishment.Had the breakfast special, home fries were deep fried which should be pan fried, instead i got french fried cubes and bacon was over cooked way too crispy(should have been used for bacon bits). Not worth $7 thats for sure.Service was brutal, i sat for almost 25 minutes waiting for the bill when i was done and eventually got it myself by walking to the bar leaving all my dishes on the table. Sad considering there is only 7 tables in there and they weren't even full.Place has so much potential but falls way short and only reason I'm giving it 2⭐ is because its got potential!

Sadly this pub is closing Saturday November 25th 2017, it offered great food and very reasonable prices. I'm told the owner is looking at finding another location in Kitchener to reopen, however nothing has been selected yet. Too bad a place like this has to close.

This is one of the best kept secrets in KW. Although it's a bit rough around the edges, the food is great and the service is fine.Whether it's the tasty greasy breakfast, great combo deals on wings, pitchers, and pizza, or the late night karaoke, this place is great.

A fun time on a Sunday night, with regular folk singng their hearts out during Karaoke. Food is great, service fabulous, and easy to get to. No pretentious people here! :)

Best karaoke spot in town! Huge selection from the oldies to modern hits from the 2010s. They have literally everything you can think of.It looks a little rough on the outside but on the inside it is a charming hole-in-the-wall pub. Alcohol is cheap there and they have a great selection for such a small place. Didn't try the food but it smelled amazing. The people there are friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time.

This restaurant/pub is more inviting than other reviews let on. The staff does wonderful things in a kitchen that could be yours or moms. True it is not a fine dining" establishment but the menu especially for breakfast is varied and the daily specialsd are more than worth trying. On special occasions like Valentines day or Mother's Day they put one buffets or offer several course meals no one should miss. Example Mother's Day last week we ordered the special which was Prime Rib and it came with fresh asparagus spears and carrots slices your choice of potatoes
