I've always hated the hassle of going to the dentist and the monotonous way you are clinically moved through from the doctor to the hygienist and out the door. At Cannington Dental I very much feel like part of the family there. The receptionists are wonderful, kind and take time to see how things are going. The assistants and hygienists are thorough and informative, answering every little question I had as if it was the first time anyone has asked that item in particular, and the doctor was beyond professional and welcoming rather the cold and standoffish as my typical dentists usually are. I strongly recommended this practice!

I was very underwhelmed with my experience at this dental office. The dentist and hygienist were very kind and warm, and that's why I am giving one star. All other aspects of the appointment were far under the level of service that I have been used to in other offices that I've visited. I was told to call my insurance company myself and find out what coverage they offered. Anywhere else I've gone, they call and find out for you. The tools and technology used were FAR behind anything I've ever seen. I have very good teeth, and the next day, my teeth and gums were actually sore from the cleaning.. this has never happened to me before, and I am a regular dentist goer. I was also charged $280 for a comprehensive exam and cleaning, and I did my research, and a clinic that is very well known in Orillia only charges $189 for a comprehensive exam and cleaning together. Just a WARNING for people looking in the area.. I will not be back to this office.

Excellent dentistry! Been a patient for over 20 years and still going.

My partner has been a patient of this office for a long time. Simply because they at one time were close to home for him so it was convenient. We've moved and it no longer makes sense for him to travel to them, also I've told him I thought they weren't very good for a long time. Every time he's had work done it seems he comes home with another issue. Whenever he's had to have a tooth removed they claim it's a complicated extraction and try to send him to Oshawa or Uxbridge. The latest though is that he's found a dentist closer to home so naturally he filled out release forms to have his info sent to new dentist which he can't get into for consult until middle of December. In the mean time he has been having problems with his teeth and is in need of having another tooth removed (had one last month by them which they wouldn't pull initially sent him home then he ended up in the hospital over it with pain killers and antibiotics) he was to go in next week to have it removed. They cancelled all of his appointments and didn't have the courtesy to even call so now he's out a days wages by taking the day off and they told him today when he called to confirm time on next weeks appointment otherwise he would have showed up being none the wiser and turned away the day off. They tell him when he signed release forms to a new dentist they cancel his appointments he's already booked. Hes got this appointment because its necessary to have this tooth out before mid December but they didn't seem to care. Wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

Receptionist was two faced and rude. My fault for missing single appointment; but called yelling, threatening to charge for work not being done and swore. Not to mention she blabed on about my missee appointment when forwarding documents to new dentist who laughed. So un-proffesional and not who you want in customer service.
