Very nice restaurant, good vibe, quiet place, well decorated place, the oysters are good, the saumon tartare is very tasty, though the chips with it are ok, the churros as dessert are a must go, the calamari were delicious, the portions are on the smaller side as it is a tapas style restaurant and it is a little on the expensive side. The drinks are good and overall I recommend this restaurant.

Tapas bar with excellent bartenders and good food. Portions are on the smaller side, but the quality is great. $1 oysters from Mon-Thurs deserves a 5/5 simply for affordability.This would be a daily haunt if I my means matched my taste!

Great place to go! Food is very good! I love the oysters there ! The atmosphere is very nice! The service is one of the best in town based on my experience! I strongly recommend this place! If you happen to be in Verdun, you need to come to this place!

La Betise has a very lively atmosphere and is nicely decorated.When we went it was busy and unfortunately service was quite slow, but once we ordered the food came quickly.The sautee vegetables and grilled octopus were good. However, the rest of the food (lamb dumpling, crab bites oysters) was ok and the dishes were pricey given the portion sizes.

Terrace was nice, chairs were comfortable but the seafood platter wasn't great. The oysters were warm. Had better octopus elsewhere. My friends ordered gluten free and lactose free platter....finally was not as expected. Had to reorder. The wine was good but the bacon Caesar was barely ok. One of the staff was very attentive to ours needs in the end, but not enough to make up for what happened. They have potential, maybe it was a staff issue. Their meat looked good, maybe go for that instead of seafood.

Excellent food and service! Get the cauliflower and the crab….order everything! Small portions to share, excellent value and reasonable wine prices with a fabulous decor and atmosphere! Great for a Friday date night or evening out with friends. Terrasse in the summer. Will be back for more.

Beef Tartare was okay.Salmon Tartare was subpar.Pommes Frites with Truffle & Parmesan was excellent.Portions were small and for sharing.Prices were a bit high.Nice ambience and good service.Great neighborhood.Park at the Ethel parking structure nearby for $2 CAD per hour. It's open 24-7.
