This is not a dine in restaurant, but the food is good, the serving sizes are good, and the staff is welcoming

Sesame chicken wasn’t even sesame chicken.. not sure what it was. Sauce didn’t even coat it.Chicken balls overcook. Chicken fried rice was super bland.Giving two stars as the lady at the front counter was polite.Don’t think I’ll try again although cutting then. some slack at it was a Friday night and they seemed busy.

The beef chow mein had no flavour, and did not look well cooked. There was no sauce on the honey garlic ribs, it was extremely dry and i only got 3 small dried up pieces. The chicken balls were overcook and hard. The Chicken fried rice was super bland with no chicken pieces in it. I'm Giving this restaurant 1 star because i can't give less. I’ll never order from this location again, because it was honestly a waste of money. The only reason why i ordered from this restaurant is because google said it was one of the best Chinese food in portperry. I'm sorry that i didn't read actual reviews before ordering, because if this is the best, i wouldn't what to try any other Chinese restaurant in town. I couldn't eat all my food because I couldn't enjoy. After adding lots of soy sauce i was able to eat some cause i was really hungry. Combo #11& #4 came up to $29.26 plus i got combo#2 which was $13 after tax & i'm sure i could have spend my money elsewhere for something more enjoyable. I do not recommend

Horrible. I don't recommend. If I could give less than 1, I would. Chicken balls too over battered and tasted like they were fried in old oil. Ordered Shanghai noodles, the worst I have ever had. Noodles were red and not cooked, no shrimp, no curry, no veggies. I do not recommend this place.

Excellent as always. Pay 0% attention to bad reviews. I have been buying from yummy wok for years and have NEVER been disappointed. If you go into any business with a big attitude then whatever reaction you get ..you deserve it. I have always been treated wonderfully and the food has been delicious!

Great attention to detail! Very tasty and fresh. My chicken chop suey had lots of meat and fresh carrots. My lemon chicken was bagged separately so as not to get soggy with the rest of the food in the combination plate, like other Chinese take-outs. Definitely will buy from them again. Also, very friendly lady who seemed happy to get the business.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from there. The first time sucked. The second time I gave the benefit of the doubt, The food was cold and no flavours The chicken balls hardly had chicken in it with way to much batter. The rice was not even chicken fried rice and the honey garlic spare ribs were so jelly it was non edible. I also ordered chicken sugai. Disgusting. I wasted 67 dollars and the only thing that was eaten was 3 chicken balls because I was starving. Definitely needs to be shut down.

AWFUL ABSOLUTELY AWFUL here's the story.. we ordered 96.00 worth of different dishes. The food arrived pretty well on time. How can a Chinese restaurant go so wrong with egg rolls, way over cooked and cold, chicken fried ride that was so bland with a few slivers of chicken and cold, sweet and sour pork was awful and again cold.. vegetables were not cooked and I won't bore you with the rest of it .. we were hungry, so we ate what we could, but threw out most of it.. I was so upset about food quality I went directly back to yummy wok's..informed the lady that in 75 yrs I have never had such awful Chinese food.. she was very defensive, not asking what was wrong, insisting it was always made fresh and hot.. in the end she refunded me 48.00 out of the 96.00 order..she also told me not to order from them again. This was something we both could agree on . I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . WORST FOOD EVER.. IF you decide to ignore this review I hope you have better luck than we did..

Staff was polite. Everything else was bad.The restaurant was freezing.The Lemon chicken combination plate came with 4 pcs of chicken, with lemon sauce on the side.Chow mein chicken was large but added on top of the chow mein instead of being cooked with.Chicken with mixed veggies was the same, added to after being cooked. Loosing all flavor in the chicken when added on top as a side.I was excited to try a new place, I thought the 4 pcs was a treat... until I realized it was suppose to be my lemon chicken. Such a disappointment.

3 stars for the nice lady working the counter, other wise 1 star for the actual food. Everything tasted incredibly salty from the vegetables to the rice to the meat. Wife and I ended up just throwing away both our orders in the garbage. $27 I won't be getting back.
