I came here for a candle workshop at the beginning of the month. It was a really fun, relaxing Sunday afternoon with my friends as a belated birthday celebration. None of us had made candles before, but with Suraiya guiding us we felt completely at ease.I could tell a lot of thought went into organizing before we arrived, from the welcome pastries and drinks to the workstation flow. Other little things like confetti and balloons decorating the space, plus a surprise gift at the end, made me feel seen and appreciated. It was so heartwarming to be around some of the people I loved most and getting to share a new activity together!Spending around $105 per person may seem like a lot upfront, but my friends and I agreed it was well worth it for the quality. We got to make 2 soy wax candles and a room mist, with a large variety of all natural scents and decorations (e.g. lavender buds, dried eucalyptus glitter) to choose from. Adding to the custom experience, we got to write our own labels for the products!Thank you again to the Homecoming team for a truly unforgettable time. <3
