If you have full coverage and you just need a little strong arming to get you to do whats best for your health i do suggest Dr. Wilke. He'll do it with a smile.The receptionists and hygenist were very kind. Which made meeting him a surprise for me; a person with no coverage who has constraints on my ability to fork over endless amounts of money. Id saved up what i hoped was more than enough to fix the problem teeth and any potential fillings and any potential upkeep on amalgum fillings slowly deteriorating in my mouth from childhood and hopefully get a new night guard so i could stop chewing my way through 30$ a pop over the counter analogs from london drugs.But i havent been to the dentist for anything other than a tooth pulling since 2013 and go figure the prices have gone up by about 50 percent. IN 7 YEARS. I was not prepared. (Woops).Im going to get a second opinion and damn the extra exam fee, I'll pay that to avoid the manipulation, fear tactics, and shaming for daring to think of gambling on my teeth" by letting two teeth that arent hurting me that have been broken for YEARS wait just 5 weeks until my dental coverage kicks in and i might be able to use the rest of my money to better my life. Ill see what my second opinion says because im willing to believe that i am just very upset to hear things i dont want to hear and that the situation IS that dire.But I was disgusted and appalled at the bedside manner of this dentist when it comes to the systemic inequality that his industry ABSOLUTELY benefits from. As well as the lack of regulative pricing that his industry also ABSOLUTELY benefits from. Which makes his behaviour a significant problem.So. Full coverage you have? You're going to have a good experience. But youre going to have a good experience anywhere. Consider a dentist with a heart. Consider a dentist who cares about anything other than the act of making butt tons of money in a damn near unregulated medical field.If you dont have dental coverage this is not the dentist for you. They do NOT get it."

I’ve always been impressed with Dr Wilkie. 15 years ago I had lots of dental work done, but moved to Vancouver shortly after. Every dentist I saw in Vancouver was extremely impressed with whoever the dentist was who did that work. When another professional speaks good of their competition it’s usually a good sign.

Not a very friendly experience with the front desk staff. Not going to be re booking any appointments here

Missed issues a number of times resulting in more drastic more expensive remedies needed. Referred me to an implant specialist without informing me of other options such as root canal or crown. The number of different dentist coming and going no consistency

I have so far had one experience with Rutherford Dental. Our usual dentist was not able to fit us in for an emergency exam so we called around and thankfully the Rutherford dental clinic fit us in. This was on a Friday before a long weekend. I had called several other dental clinics to see if they had availability but many were closed for the Friday to stretch out their long weekend. I was so relieved to hear they were open and willing to help see us even though we are not their patients. The staff were all caring and helpful and the dentist that tended to my son was efficient and did everything she could to address immediate issues to prevent further damage while we wait to get in for the needed procedure with our dentist. We are now considering switching our dental clinic to Rutherford Dental. Our dentist clinic is fine, but we found the care at Rutherford to be most attentive and reassuring.
