Definitely do NOT recommend taking your pet here. Took my dog Cypress here on the Sunday and Dr Mccallum diagnosed an ear infection and prescribed Surolan. Dr Mccallum seemed scared of our dog, wouldn’t even touch her. She asked my husband to pull up her ears and everything, she never even did a full look over. Every vet including our current one has done a once over look to ensure no other issues. She didn’t bother any of that. Definitely not a above and beyond kind of place. Anyways she provided no instructions on how many drops of Surolan or anything. Let alone it’s an $80 walk in fee -I’ve called a few times during the week explaining it’s not getting better. Each time the vet tech had to wait a long time to chat with the vet and then the vet tech called me back saying basically just keep doing what I’m doing. When I had follow up questions the vet tech would say “she didn’t go into details” well, isn’t that helpful? Coastal rivers our usual vet, the vets actual call and they go above and beyond. I now called Saturday (now it’s been a full 7 days of giving Cypress these drops and only 25% better) and finally the dr Mccallum would like us to bring her in. Of course probably a misdiagnosis and charge us even more. When my husband asked her how many mg of benedryl to give the dog she also recommended not to give it which is hilarious as every vet we have seen says it’s totally fine - even google. Definitely a money grab kind of place.

We have been taking our pets to Sardis Animal Hospital for the last 5 years. We have always had a positive experience in dealing with every staff member right from the moment we walk in the door with the receptionist, to the vet technicians, veterinarians and the owner. They are all fantastic. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know. I find that they are fair, reasonable and know what know what they are talking about. They show kindness towards both me and my dogs every time. It is wonderful to have found a place that we can really trust. Everyone in this office is warm, friendly and genuinely care about your pets. Thank you to Marissa, Dr. Powell and Dr. Danoe for taking such great care of Mea. Beyond words, I appreciate the kindness, service and caring that we have found here.

I was going to write a review at the time of when I went in last year just before Christmas, so I am writing it now. I drive my son to school going past their veterinary place 5 days a week. One day I could see a cat in the park area diagonally across from them beside a large tree, close enough to the road where I could see it when I drove by.The cat appeared to have passed away as it was laying on its side beside the large tree. I thought the city might see it and pick the cat up, three days later it was still there and someone put a large branch over the cat to cover it up.I felt bad for the cat and on the way back in the morning from my sons school I decided to go in and let them know about the cat. When I had to pick my son up in the afternoon I was driving past and it was gone. They were compassionate enough to take a cat that passed away near the side of the road and give it a proper goodbye instead of the cat being left for other animals to get at it.I wanted to say THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT!

Saved my dogs life. Cheam wrongly diagnosed my lab with heart disease and were selling me heart meds. Took him to Sardis because his breathing hadn't improved. Turned out Cheam had lied to me and he had no murmur or heart disease at all. Wasn't even close on the tests. Sardis saved his life, got him off the heart meds and into antibiotics for his lungs. Hes already breathing better. Sardis is a great animal hospital. Thank you Sardis for saving my buddy's life.

We have been loyally going here with all our pets for over 25 years. Over the past 5 years there has been a noticeable decline. The way they treated us during a recent traumatic event was deplorable. I have no problem doing what you can to try and save a loved one, but when they tried to guilt us into spending twice as much just so they can prolong the suffering of a family pet it is shameful. It is hard enough losing a part of the family but to then be made to feel as if you didn't try is brutal, just so they can collect another fee. After only 2 calls to other recommended vets we found a wonderful caring business that we will be taking all our pets to. We will be letting everyone we know how we were treated and how our pet was mistreated in his final days by this profit before care organization.

Oct 16th will go down as the hardest day my wife and I have ever had. We had to put down the love of our lives Titan after 14yrs. Jamie and I thought it was important to let everyone know that the 4 ladies who helped us yesterday were as good as it get's when faced with such a difficult task. To everyone that will some day be faced to make the same decision I'm here to say that we are glad we made the choice we did and went to Sardis Animal Hospital. Thank you from the bottom of my heart's.

I had to get my senior bulldogs nails done and she gets really anxious when she has to go to the vet or even the groomers. I asked the Aleisha at Sardis Animal Hospital if a tech would be willing to come outside and do her nails. I was so happy when they obliged and did everything to make my Jadey comfortable. I think I've found my dogs new hospital. Aleisha was so sweet and professional, I don't remember the name of the lovely lady that did Jades nails but she was absolutely top shelf! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for yesterday<3

(Posting from my husband's account as Google won't allow a second/update review) Following up from my initial review in March - My 3 dogs came in on three consecutive days for dentistry this past week. I am super happy with my experience at Sardis Animal Hospital. Each day I had a different technician admitting and performing each dog's dentistry. All of the RVTs I dealt with were professional, friendly and they had great communication regarding the dental procedure/what I should expect. I received an update call from the doctor after each pet was done and another phone call later in the afternoon from the RVT to go over home-care and set up a discharge time. I also received a a follow-up call the next day to check in on their well-being, post procedure. I am extremely pleased with the level of care that my pets received during their dentistry - Sardis AH is very thorough with their dental procedures from start to finish. This was the first time in 16 years (as a VA) that I was not present and involved during one of my pet's anesthetics or procedures. I am so relieved that I have found a veterinary clinic with the exceptional quality care that only an AAHA accredited hospital and an exceptional team can provide – it gives me more peace of mind than I can say. Thank you Dr. Powell and team for the great experience! My scruffy little guys now have mouths that are clean, healthy and happy!

Picked up medication for my dog today from the clinic. Not only were the dosages incorrect, but the instructions were wrong as well. Had I followed their instructions, my dog would have died. I have been looking for a professional vet in Chilliwack since moving here but obviously, this is not the one. I will be sure to let everyone know of my experience. I am beyond angry and disgustedFurther to my review above:Dr. Powell, the owner of Sardis Animal Hospital, reached out to me. He looked into what happened and called to say it was fully their fault and he has figured out what went wrong. They are putting new procedure in place so it can't happen again. I have accepted his apology and am glad to hear this is being used as a learning opportunity. Thankfully no harm was done.Based on the follow up by the clinic I have upgraded my review from one star to three.
