The Fire Within

We love our new fireplace and it is just in time for winter. The crew was terrific, friendly, and did a great job. Best of all they were there on the day they said they would be for the installation and it was on budget.Thank you!

Honestly I would give 100 stars if I could. These gentlemen worked their butts off to get the old chimney out and put the new one in. Everyone was super kind and gracious, even though it was a major pain for them, and they put me at ease and listened to our concerns. I will use this company in the future for sure.

I contacted The Fire Within to inquire about having a large wood burning fireplace installed in our home. Christine and Martine were very patient with me and explained all my options in detail. When I finally made my decision they were quick to receive materials and book an installation date. The crew arrived to my home at the time and date that was originally given to us. I was amazed to see how cautious they were around my carpet and hardwood floor areas. They cleaned up after themselves each day even though I told them they could just leave it since they would be returning again the next morning. I am so thrilled with the wonderful river rock fireplace that I now have in my living room. We have had several guests over and all claim it is the most beautiful, well crafted fireplace they have seen. I would highly recommend The Fire Within to anyone. When we update our heating at the cottage, we will be sure to hire The Fire Within again!

I absolutely loathe having to use this company. I purchased a house where the fireplace had been bought through The Fire Within, so I had to use them; however, if I had the choice, I would not use them again. They have very poorcustomer service that I have ever encountered in a for-profit business. We constantly schedule technician appointments, take days off work, and yet they DO. NOT. SHOW. and we do not receive a courtesy call.

My fireplace became damaged within its warranty period. I contacted The Fire Within to correct the damage. 14 weeks later, I am still chasing them. They have left it up to me to figure out how to install the replacement piece because their tech's have never seen this part before". Terrible experience thus far."

I had these guys install a wood stove in my walkout basement 3 years ago and it has been perfect! I had a few estimates and although they are not the cheapest I decided to go with them because they installed a gas fireplace upstairs a few years prior. Very happy with both installs. Reputable place with many years in business. Glad they convinced me to go with the best chimney components. Spent a bit more money upfront but well worth it. Thanks for making my place enjoyable!!!

Thank you to Nick, Mike and Alex for the great work installing our new gas fireplace. It was seamless and completed on time and as we discussed being new to the area it is nice to know “The Fire Within” is as advertised.. Great job done by all!

I am not impressed at all with this company and their customer service. I have been waiting for 6 weeks just to have a service guy come out and measure to advise on a product that would fit my current fireplace and get a quote for a fireplace insert. I was contacted by the sales person with a date to schedule the consultation, only to find out that she thought she was calling someone else, and they were not scheduling me for a quote. I was waiting for a guy that would stop by sometime when he was in my area. They would not make an appointment from the office. I am 20 min from Bracebridge. I went with another company in Huntsville who were happy to provide me with excellent and thoughtful service.
