Update: 3+ months after I returned my rental car I was billed for tolls and administrative fees, and was not provided any kind of documentation showing the toll charges occurred while I was in possession of the car. Luckily my credit card company flagged and rejected the charge.....Rental process was easy, and straightforward. My girlfriend left her makeup bag in the car accidentally, and they mailed it to us only charging the cost of shipping. Nice people, professional and helpful.

Out of all the car rental services in Toronto, if you're looking for a place with actually some good service then I'd recommend this place. The owner was outgoing, and even considerate. He stayed open past his closing time to accomodate us since we were literally abandoned by TURO last minute. The driver made some bs excuse saying his car got totaled.... All in all, this place was considerate, accommodating and kind service with really nice cars. For a last minute rental we got a sweet new civic which helped my wife and I with gas since it is gas efficient and a comfortable ride for long drives.

Stay away from them!! I rented a car online from Economy at Pearson airport. They did not have the car available so they sent me to another location. I was told it is the same company. It was called Advance Car. That’s how I ended up going there. 1-They made me wait at least 45 min after I arrived there!! Then they started to complain about my insurance. They said my credit card insurance is not enough. I have rented at least 50 times from 10-15 different companies and have never had such issues. Eventually he made me call my own insurance to confirm my own insurance also covers rental cars!! The man who handled my case was very sceptical. He did not use any disrespectful word but his behaviour was extremely annoying. After sending me from the airport to another location and making me wait for 45 minutes they offered me the most basic car in the class. I have never seen such a basic car in my life. The rear windows wouldn’t open!! I didn’t have time to argue and ask for another car. The car was a trash. it was an absolute trash. Once I hit 80km the entire car would shake and make a crazy and loud noise like it is missing a wheel or two. Inside the car smelled horrible. I believe that car was easily 7-8 years old. I hope I never ever have to deal with this company. Stay away from them. There is absolutely something wrong with their business.

I went to pick up my rental at a company just across from Advance. It turned out the place I reserved a car ended up being a huge disappointment and expensive with all their hidden fees, I decided to check out the guys at Advance Car and Truck Rental. They ended up being one of the best places Ive ever rented a car from. When I had difficulty with my cards, they made it work for me. They were accommodating patient and kind, and the prices were reasonable. If anything they made the whole situation work in my favour and have to say pleasantly happy to say the least. The car was great too, brand new civic which was perfect clean and completely reliable. The guys at Advance are great and they will be my go-to for my next rental. Hands down.

Worst rental company! Have been speaking to them all day about renting a car they were supposed to have ready the day before! They however decided to leave early even though they tell people that they are a 24hr business. They work closely with the body shop fixing our car but we're very rude when he called to ask them why no one was there. I spoke to them as well and they were the same. Owners Raj and Shawn don't know how to deal with customers or run a business. Unreliable and unprofessional. Don't waste your time!In responses yours.I did have a car reserved as you were speaking to my father the entire day to set up a time for pick up. He informed you that I would be done work and at the body shop by 8:30. You told the body shop owner you left early because you were sick. Call a spade a spade. If professionalism is your priority you would have informed us that you had to leave early and we could have arranged a different pick up situation. Look at the rest of your reviews to learn how you can better improve your business.

worst company. Don’t trust on them. They will charge you many extra charges. They charge $250 plus taxes. If you don’t like their car and want to return. Their cars are not in goof condition.

No words to express my happiness and staisfaction each and every time I take car/truck rentals from Shawn. No one in the market can match their price. Best quality cars with super service. Very humble yet professional.. amazing people to do business with. Highly reliable. Especially Shawn is very polite and kind. Good company with good people.
