Urbana Kitchens

This is my first negative review and so it has taken me a while to write it. We hired Urbana in June of 2020 to help us build our dream custom kitchen. We had employed them in the past to install two other kitchens and we were happy with the finished product. Sadly, we were not rewarded with the same results the third time around. The kitchen was mis-measured on two walls. After several attempts on Urbana's behalf to unsuccessfully mask the deficiences with fillers, it was decided that the countertops and some of the cabinetry would have to be removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Unfortunately, after the reinstallation, we were left with countertops that have ununiformed overhangs, and cabinetry and appliances that have an obvious crooked" appearance. For the countertops we were offered a credit or they would replace a section of the countertop but they would not repair any drywall or tile damaged in the process. Because it was nearing July of 2021 almost 7 months after beginning the renovation

One the worse customer service we ever experience in Victoria. They were very nice until the contract was signed!It took over 3 months to get our kitchen finish they had wrong cuts 3 times!!! . The designer NEVER contacted us or offer any help. We were left alone to make all the designs choices for the kitchen. When we tried to get help, we were told that she was on holiday and that nobody else could help. To this day, we never heard back from her. Since we could not believe it we called the store and were told that everything was normal since we had a contractor installing our kitchen and the designer had contacted him to talk about the issues. No apologies for the poor service and no recognition of any responsibility. The help of a designer was just a fake. We went there to be help and never got any. I would never use them again

I have worked on several projects with both Charlotte and Atarah and everything is always smooth sailing with great communication! Strongly recommended!!

I stopped into Urbana to look at kitchen design and materials. I was so impressed by the depth of knowledge, friendliness and expertise Ellen showed us. She had ideas that were creative, thoughtful and most importantly a just the right blend of functionalIt’s and beauty. This is what depth of knowledge and experience will bring when you talk to the right people whether it be about appliances to accessories or cabinetry.

I love our bedroom cabinetry and am thrilled with the elegant cabinets that Ellen designed and the quality of the product. Over the years Ellen has designed several large projects for our home. Her patience, meticulous attention to detail and space design is excellent. I am more than happy with Urbana and the extra service that they provided.

Urbana did a great job in designing and implementing what we wanted for our kitchen. Looks fantastic!On completion, there were a few noted flaws with the cabinetry and in spite of us waiting some time before expressing our concerns, the management was quick to respond and very professional in dealing with it for us.Recommended.

Nesta, our designer with Urbana, did an amazing job with our downstairs bar. Measurements were spot on, schedule for installs were right on time, and the final install was cleaned and looks perfect. I can't find a single thing to fault with our experience. I would definitely recommend Nesta and Urbana to anyone thats considering getting their kitchen or bar done.

We recently worked with Ellen in the initial planning for our kitchen reno, and were very impressed with her expertise. Her knowledge was invaluable as she guided us through the process of what could otherwise be an overwhelming project. She listened respectfully to our thoughts and offered suggestions as needed. We would totally recommend her as an excellent resource and support to anyone who is undertaking a kitchen renovation!

Urbana did a wonderful job on a kitchen renovation at my Sister's house, so I knew we were in good hands when we started our own project. Our designer, Ellen, was knowledgeable, pleasant and patient with our very specific want list. Customer service and communication is top notch from everyone - the designer, the logistics person and the installer. The cabinetry is excellent quality and we are so happy with our beautiful kitchen.
