Delta Hotels by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre

Rooms are well laid out. One room had a nice whirlpool tub. The sitting area was large and clean. Bedroom was off to the back. Not every room is the same. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Just finished a three night stay at this property. All I can say is wow. This must be one of the best managed properties I've stayed at in a long time (my 70th Marriott brand night this year). Everything from check in, Platinum benefits, housekeeping and the restaurant were fantastic. In particular, the check in staff and restaurant staff for breakfast were beyond friendly and helpful. I seldom write reviews, but I've been so impressed with this stay that I had to speak up!

I’ll start straight away by saying this was probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. Really, really exceptional staff who genuinely want you to have a nice time. Really clean rooms. Beautiful hotel. Wonderful restaurant with great staff and food/drink. I’ll definitely be back here again sometime. Well worth the price you pay as you get great value for your money.

I had a wonderful stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre in Ontario, Canada. The hotel is conveniently located near the University of Guelph, the Highway 401 and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The hotel has spacious rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, kitchenettes and wet bars. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The hotel also has a fitness center and a large meeting space for events. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guelph or the surrounding area. It was a great experience

The staff at this location are great, and will try to accommodate your every need. The food at the restaurant was very good (especially the pizza in the stone oven) and the atmosphere at the bar was nice for a hotel bar. Lunch food for a group of 8 at meetings was far below par and would make us choose another location for meetings in the future.

We stayed here for a short getaway. Everything was excellent. The rooms were large and clean. The only problem is they need some new mattresses. I'm no princess but after a couple days my back was killing me. One of the mattress had a huge concave to it. Not good for sleeping. A nice hotel like this should keep better quality mattress in the rooms.

Hotel is in a quiet zone (I don’t know if it’s because of the holiday). It’s neat, smoke-free, elevators work and it has 6 floors.Parking is close to the hotel which is great. Rooms are spacious enough- the downside for me was the beddings being stained. I don’t think they were switched. Also there were people’s possessions in the drawers which indicate that they do not check their drawers nor clean them. The room smelled like it was just checked out of after eating croissants.Secondly the bath gel was not filled up for the 2 days; we had to end up using the hand soap to bath. The curtains were dirty at the top and the table had particles- whoever cleaned was either being lazy or just needed to “do something”. TV was a good size. Also the pillows or comforter smelled like old spit - reason why I said it was not changed. Guest service is good overall but kindly take care of housekeeping. They came in to check but the bin was still full. Don’t see why they bothered coming into the room anyway.

Room was clean and a decent size. KS bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small, but adequate and clean. Service at the front desk was friendly. They add a $75 charge to your CC for incidentals which is removed afterwards. Free parking for guests staying at the hotel. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.
