Day & Ross Ottawa (OTT)

Shipment arrived within 2 days. Sent me a BBQ instead of 3rd box for pergola. Been 2 weeks and still waiting on call back for correct shipment. No communication, and no one knows where my order is after calling several times. Terrible service after spending 2000$, with no estimate for arrival. Never again with Day and Ross.

Website never updates with tracking information. Customer service is absolutely useless. Driver finally shows up with 1 out of 2 boxes, they have no idea where the other one is. For a logistics company, they are completely disorganized and will not use again.

First time dealing with this company. Estimated delivery date was the 13th. Called at the end of day on the 14th since my package had not arrived yet and that same morning tracking had been updated to show that it had arrived at the facility in Ottawa. Agent stated that the truck had come in the night before but they had not gotten around to it. Delivery driver showed up on the 15th informing me that he only had 3 out of 4 boxes from my order and that he did not know what had happened to the 4th. I called them again and was informed that the package had been left on the loading dock and that it would be delivered by the end of that day or the next which was the 16th. At the end of day on the 16th I called again and was told this time that they did not have my package, that it was a small facility and they had looked for it but did not find it. Agent said if it was there they would have seen it. Will likely now have to wait 2 weeks for the company I purchased from to be able to make a claim so that they can send out what is missing from what I received. Now have 3 huge boxes sitting at home that I cant do anything with unless I have the 4th box. Contacted the company I made the purchase with on the 15th who stated they had sent out an email to Day & Ross and that they were looking into it and had been told that Day & Ross would get back to them in the next 1-2 days. Spoke to Day & Ross today, the 17th, and they state they have no record of the company reaching out.Overall terrible customer service. They clearly have no clue what they are doing. I would suggest that anyone even considering using this company run as far away as they can. Clearly don't care about their customers. Just look at all the review online and you will see that the vast majority of reviews are 1 star and have extremely similar stories including the ones on the Better Business Bureau website, who gave Day & Ross a letter grade of F might I add. Stay away at all costs, you will only end up with a headache.PS: finally received my missing package today the 20th. Day & Ross decided that it was appropriate to open my package without my consent. They weren't even able to tell me where they found the box.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN. There's no point going into detail because so many of the recent reviews have already said it all, but this company will do anything, and I mean ANYTHING to avoid serving their customers. Their policy is that NOTHING can be answered on the spot. Need to track an item? Oh, let's email the terminal and they'll get back to us within 24 hours with an answer. NOPE. Getting frustrated and want to talk to a supervisor? Sorry, they don't take calls. We'll get one to email you within 24 hours... you guessed it, NOPE.Do your research when buying from online retailers. If they use this company, make sure you advise the retailer that you won't buy unless they ship with someone else. Day & Ross obviously don't care because WE are not the customers, the retailers are. And as long as the retailers keep using them to ship their orders, then Day & Ross is happy. If you want to force Day & Ross to actually improve their customer service, make sure to speak to the retailers!

To say dealing with this company is terrible is an understatement. I have been waiting for over 4 weeks for them to pick up a damaged fridge. They’ve missed 4 appointments so far with a litany of lame excuses.Think twice before ordering appliances from Home Depot because of their contract with Day and Ross.

If I could post less than 1 star I would...took the day off Tuesday to await my 9-5 " delivery...never came...response from Day and Ross " I do not know why the driver didn't load it??"...set a new date of Friday...again " 9-5 "

I do not take one star reviews lightly.If you look at my reviews most of them will be 5 star, I prefer to reward people and companies with good reviews when they deserve them, even if there are imperfections.At this point I had no other option but to give this company the review it truly deserve. It took me over a month of patience and polite requests for service.Here is the breakdown:Ordered glass shower doors on 28th of December 2021. Was supposed to get those in 4-5 days. After two weeks and multiple times Day & Ross called and told me to stay home as they will deliver I finally got 2 of 3 boxes in absolutely destroyed state. 3rd box was missing. Few more phone calls to both Rona and Day and Ross and next day they brought 3rd box.2nd Order for replacement of the doors, 2 weeks later we found that the replacement doors were smashed in Day & Ross warehouse in Montreal. Day & Ross new about this for over a week and did not inform neither myself nor Rona. While all of this is going on we are trying to call and find when we can have the doors delivered and some of their staff on the phone is outright rude.3rd order placed by Lowe's Rona, Reno Depot executive customer service rep, whom we had to get involved at this point. Tracking shows that doors are in Ottawa, Ray & Ross pushes delivery that was schedule for tomorrow to another one week away, There is nobody to talk to, there is nobody to reach on the phone.I think the problem is that this company gets paid by big box store no matter how horrible their service is. With that there is no market influence on them. I also think the management of this company is so highly disconnected from customers that they don't even see that their profile is filled with negative reviews. Meanwhile Lowe's/Rona/RenoDepot executive are doing nothing to protect their customers from this disservice. It's very shameful to be in business and to not provide customers with at least an effort.

Happy to be the 100th review and leave 5 stars. Lots of very negative reviews. I ordered my appliance on Friday, it was here the next Monday. Well packed and well delivered, very prompt.

Received my package (I NEVER signed for it) I opened it and it was so damaged that it cannot be used. When the shipper contacted them they lied and said I signed for it in good condition so that they don't have to pay out. It cost me over $900 for this and it's useless. (this is head office not the local)

Be careful with this company.. I will not work with them again very very disorganized company. I have a lot to say but do not want to waste more time on them. it took me about 20 calls to get my shipment right.
