Thermëa spa village | Whitby

Last minute booking and arrived Sunday at 4:30pm during the long weekend for the spa pools. Overall would recommend the experience, nice getaway from the city to spend a couple hours or half dayFacilities includes two steam rooms, saunas, two warm pools, ice showers and pools, about 8 hammocks and lots of lounging chairs on the resort. 3 different styles of restaurants also there for a bitePros:- customer service was friendly and great. From the moment of checking in to leaving, there's always someone there to help make the experience easy/better- everything was clean and immaculate. Robe and towel service on point (no slippers)- the biermarket food upstairs was solid and well priced. Smash burger was $20 all in and quite big. Also wasn't a fast" burger but well cooked- ritual sauna experiences are a nice touch. It's free and led by a member every hour- lots of lounging spaces to relax inCons:- it can be loud. There's a silence zone which is more towards the relaxation area. Hot pools is free reign to speak- hot pools felt lukewarm. Also wish there was more (only 2 on the grounds)- more hammocks! Love em

I took my wife to the Thermea Spa Village in Whitby, Ontario for her birthday. I have to say that this place is truly a hidden gem that transports you into a world of pure relaxation and rejuvenation. The place is spotlessly clean. The atmosphere is serene and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The spa offers a range of services, from massages to facials, all of which are top-notch.The thermal circuits are an absolute must-try, and the cold plunge pools are refreshing and rejuvenating.In addition to the spa experience, the restaurant/rooftop bar is also excellent, with a great selection of healthy, delicious dishes. The smash burger was one of the best burgers I've had the pleasure of eating.I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a truly exceptional, relaxing and peaceful getaway.You wont be disappointed.

Visited in June. Our ‘orientation’ could have been more detailed but not a big deal. The grounds are beautiful, every detail is well thought out with decor, lighting, music, signage,maps, and foliage. So many area to explore and enjoy. I will definitely return and try in every other season.Highly recommend!

These places is just something else! It reminds me of Scandinavian Spa Whistler near Vancouver with all the luxurious landscapes and mountains. It was my second time here and I truly enjoyed every second. Even though you have to book some of experiences in advance, there is a “ritual “ going on at one of the saunas every hour and everyone is welcome! Atmosphere is relaxing and the place is not crowded at all. Highly recommend

Spent the whole day at the Whitby location today, I want to start by saying how clean and beautiful this facility is. The customer service all around was impressive but I have to say Ashley, Robbin, Sara and Vanessa were AMAZING and went above and beyond to make sure the experience was incredible. The Rhassoul clay treatment was fun and relaxing. The food was delicious from all 3 restaurants I have to recommend the turkey sandwich! It was so good. I will 100% be returning to this location and I cannot wait for my next visit.Thank you so much

Loved our experience at Thermea! The staff were so kind and helpful. The facilities were pristine. The food & drinks were phenomenal.I really enjoyed the hot pools and sauna, and the hammocks were a great spot to rest and hang out! The whole village has a gorgeous campfire smell from the fire pits placed around the grounds, and calming music playing in the background on speakers.I only regret that I didn’t book a massage in time, I definitely will for my next visit! Can’t wait to go back - 10/10

We went on Mother's Day. Arrived at 3:30pm, sun was beaming! As the evening approached it did get a bit chilly but was still comfortable with the robe. Too cold for the cold plunge in the evening. Overall spa and thermal experience was well planned/organized and the service was great. The hourly rituals in the sauna was a nice experience.The place is well maintained. The infused water stations were a nice touch. The locker system is great! Everything is charged to your electronic band.The only problem was both our food orders were made wrong. But the manager gave us a new meal with the correction and did not charge us for it.Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend for a spa day in the GTA!

This was our first time coming to thermëa and it was an amazing experience. We will definitely be returning again. There's so many pools, saunas, steam rooms, guided activities to enjoy. A few restaurants where you can get some great food along with alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages. The staff are so friendly and pleasant. Highly reccomend this spa for a fun relaxing time :)

Thermal experience was incredible, we loved the saunas,steam rooms and pools! Cold plunge was so refreshing!!Loved the cocktails and food was enjoyable too. The servers in the restaurants were so polite and friendly! I wish I had known that the esthics treatments were with comfort zone when we booked as I would have done a facial! Thank you to the manager who provided exceptional customer service and support.

After reading the mixed reviews about this place, I’m happy to say that our experience at this spa was great! We went on a weekday morning and I’m glad we did as by the time we were getting ready to leave, it was pretty packed. We booked the Rhassoul treatment and it was divine! We loved the attention to detail it included and our skin felt so soft after. Some previous reviews indicated that the rest areas were not warm enough, but luckily this wasn’t the case for us. It’s true about the communal lockers and change rooms, but there are lockers located in the gender specific washrooms. Rating this a 4 star for our experience as two of the smaller hot pools weren’t working during our visit and there was more chatter from people than I wanted. Other than that though, facilities are spacious, beautiful, clean, food and drinks at the lounge were good and all the staff we encountered were extremely kind and helpful! We hope to be back when their expansion is complete!
