customer service is good but the service that matters is garbage. i cant get cell service where my telus friend gets service and lose service way before he does when we go out camping.. and the data speeds are horrible. I pay for unlimited data.. i think its time shaw updates the mobile plans to reomove throttling speed as its not even usable.

The staff here is amazing. Don’t listen to the reviews from yesterday that seem to be the same person. The service in store has nothing to do with Shaws towers of connectivity. The retail workers selling you product have zero control over such things. Please know that if you go to this store you are going to receive top service!

My customer service experiences from Shaw have always been positive. This week it was absolutely fantastic! The two young people who assisted this obvious grandmother could not have been more helpful. They were competent in their knowledge and marketing skills. More than that they treated me like a real person; not condescending to someone who gets flustered by all the changing technology of the digital world. My deep appreciation to them both.

Our experience today with the Shaw store at Village Green Shopping Centre was excellent, and deserves to be highlighted positively in this review: Manager Adam Ockey and his team (Jayden and Melvin) went way beyond the call of duty in there servicing of our account. We were purchasing a new phone and needed substantial help in setting it up, and then transferring data from an iPad. We so appreciated their patience, friendliness and good humour throughout a process which took quite a lot of time. Today’s experience, as well as dealing with them on the purchase of another phone a couple of months ago have both proven that I made the right decision in switching after many years from another mobile phone supplier to SHAW. The Customer service I received from Adam (Manager) and Dakota at the Vernon location was 10/10. They were so helpful in setting up a new account for my elderly parents. As well as making some changes to an existing account. They spent time in making sure we received the best deal. Thank you so much for your help Adam & Dakota!

Don’t see how this has a solid 5stars.. I pay for unlimited data but it’s literally unusable.. I can’t even load a video! I’m thinking about canceling my plan to sign up with freedom mobile as they offer unlimited speeds with no throttling or deprioritization
