Westside Village Apartments & Townhouses

I have been living in the townhouses for over four years now. It is great to see the new owners doing so much to enhance the beauty of the units by planting trees, changing windows and keeping the grounds clean and neat.The office manager Peggy always has a smile on her face and greets everyone politely all the time even though I am sure her job is not the easiest and she gets a lot of complaints and issues to deal with on a daily basis. During the past four years we haven't had any issues with our unit until lately. During the past month we have had three issues come up. First was our downstairs toilet was leaking into the basement I called Peggy and she had someone come over right away to fix the toilet. Within an hour it was fixed. The second issue was the furnace. It wasn't working properly. Again I called Peggy and she had someone come over within twenty minutes to look at it and fix the issue. The third thing was our roof started leaking. Again I called Peggy and within two hours she had someone come over and shovel the snow off of the roof. The leak stopped within a few hours after they had left. It is awesome to see the fast service we get with the issues we have. Peggy has been a great asset to the company I am sure. She gets things done as soon as she can which is great to see in an office manager. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what else is going to be done to make living here even better.

I have lived in the townhouses for many many years and I must say I have not had a property manager like Aimee in the 10 years I've been here. I have had on going problems that have been over looked for many years and one phone call to Aimee and she had someone on site almost admittedly . For many years my family and I have not felt like a priority. Thanks to Aimee we most definitely are. Thank you Aimee and of course brandy for all your hard work ladies My family and I appreciate everything.

I've only been living here for just over a month. Having relocated from 4 hours away, the property manager, Peggy, was so accommodating. From prompt answers to all my questions, to providing additional information/contact numbers to streamline the process of hooking up my utilities, as well as immediately addressing a minor repair, she has been excellent. The unit itself (one of the townhouses) was virtually identical to the model unit I was shown, which was great. The interior almost feels like a brand new building (fresh paint, new, modern flooring throughout, brand new appliances), was spotless when I moved in, and anyone who has visited has commented on the nice layout and brightness (lots of windows). Also, one of the best surprises has been how quiet it is. Having neighbours on both sides I expected to be able to hear dogs or TV's etc......the walls are extremely sound proof. Would highly recommend!

I came for house viewing with a friend and the services we received from Aimee is second to none.Also, I have been privileged to stay with a friend in his apartment in time past and I must commend the management for the great maintenance work they do for these apartments and their swift responses when called upon.When compared to other town houses they are miles ahead.

I’ve been living in the Westside Village Apartments for 6 months now and can’t speak highly enough about the property and staff! The building is extremely well maintained both inside and out. Snow removal is done in a timely fashion and the common areas are well kept. Peggy is a very kind and attentive manager. My unit was renovated shortly before and I moved in and is quite modern and extremely spacious with a large balcony. After relocating from Southern Ontario, I couldn’t feel more at home!

We moved here about 10 years ago. Since the new owners took over, the amount of work and appearance is greatly improved. Peggy the building manager, and Bruce do an outstanding job keeping this place in top notch order and is willing to work with anyone who needs it, we cannot say anything about the others as we never see them. Our family and friends who visit comment on how nice and clean the building is kept.

Since moving in April to the Westside Village Townhomes, I have been blown away by the customer service.The application and leasing process with Paulina was a breeze.Upon getting my keys and meeting townhouse manager Aimee, I knew we would be in good hands. She worked hard with her amazing crew for days to resolve issues previous tenants left behind. Any issues I’ve had arise, Aimee is on top of it in an efficient and timely manner. I can’t say enough good things about my new home and recommend Westside Villages to everyone. They have made the transition of moving from southern Ontario a breeze.

The exterior and interior of the building is clean and the one very minor thing that needed to be fixed in my unit was done promptly after moving in. Aimee has been a joy to work with. She is professional and very knowledgeable. The communication has been excellent so far.

I will say the new owners are making the improvements to the apartment building and surrounding areas making them look much nicer and cleaner. I have seen the improvements made and they are done professionally. I am awaiting to see what other improvements will be made as I hear there will be many more. The friendly office manager Peggy Irwin, you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work everyone.

We've lived here in the newer townhouses for 7 years now and have been through many changes of ownership, staff & management... this was the most frustrating part at times for us, as corporate never cared and neither did the staff or management... only a small few that worked here on site were really good and wanted to do more but left because of corporate politics & ignorance.Since Westside Village Inc has taken over, and they've got better staff on board who know what they are doing, it's been great. They are working hard to improve the safety, surroundings and building units in hopes to attract better people who would appreciate and take care of their accommodations like it was there own. As long term respectable tenants, we appreciate all the efforts they've made along with their current staff.Lindsey, who was tasked with looking after the whole apartment building and all the townhouses until they brought another person on board was extremely helpful and quickly responded to any of our concerns and listened to recommendations or suggestions we made. The snow removal this year, was organized well and removed curbside bank, side walk and lot banks that caused obstructions & safety concerns for those with mobility issues which eased our minds.Keep up the great work & thank you for acknowledging and appreciating us as tenants and those tenants who have called this place home for a long time.
