This location is undergoing renovation which was posted at the location. However, we have nothing to complain about. We're glad that there is a cheaper and convenient self-pickup option for us at this location than driving all the way to Barrie. Thanks to U-Haul for the self-serve option.

This business must be for laundering, or the owner takes passive income too literally.I made a reservation online, then showed up to pick up the trailer. There was no office or staff on site, nobody answered the phone. The trailer was covered in snow and frozen to the ground. The lot was not plowed and everything was stuck.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I had an appointment to pick up a trailer at 3pm and were told the store closed at 3:30. There is, however, no operational business at this location! Arrived shortly before 3pm to find a sign with a phone number. When you call the phone number, no one ever answers and you get a voicemail box that is full. Waited around for 45 minutes before finally getting through to somebody. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

As others have stated this is a self checkout location, I used the Uhaul website and did it myself, super easy. A day after picking up the rental I received a phone call from someone at this location demanding more money and something about him and the police. I immediately hung up and called Uhaul, they confirmed it was this location and apologized for his behaviour. Super sketchy owner / employees at this location!!

Booked a trailer for the 25th. Showed up on time to pick up and there was noone around. I called both numbers on the office door and never got a response. O was forced to make alternate arrangements which ended up costing me $1200.00+ in towing fees.

Reserved a trailer for 10am. Photo explains it all. Also tried calling the guy with phone number printed on their office window and dude never picked up.

Just like all other comment, this place is in an abandon plaza. No one there to serve you. Before I book, I call u-Haul to confirm someone will be there on my pickup date. The rep called the local dealer and confirmed that he will be there during office hour. But no show again. Only lockboxes are there and a phone # to call. I called to let him know which trailer I picked up and I had to hook up myself. When I return next day, no show again, not even answer my phone call and mailbox was full, I can't even leave message to let him know I dropped off. If you have a choice, I would suggest to stay away from this location.

I wish I could give no stars. Do not use this location!!!!!! There is no customer service it is just a parking lot is a run down strip mall. The representative I spoke with basically told me it was my problem to try and get the tongue off the ground and up on my ball hitch. Not to mention it was blocked in by another trailer. Save yourself hassle and being stuck without a trailer use a different company,

Wish I had reviews 1st. Owner is Definitely very sketchy. Rent van, opted out of insurance. Told him when I returned, I did not want it on my cc. I would pay by debit, he said I could etransfer. When I went to return, he gave me a large bill. When I asked why so high, he said because of insurance. I told him I did not add it when I booked it. He said he had to listen to the call, and if I didn't add it he would credit and call back with the right amount. An hour goes by, no call. I get an email with the insurance on it, charged my credit card. Called back several times, and he wouldn't answer my call. Called head office and they said he added the insurance a day after I said no. Do Not use this location!!

Picking up a rental unit at 10 Western Avenue, Orillia is like a self checkout. There is no store front, only surveillance cameras. Speaking with the customer service representative over the phone is frustrating. Their isn't any pre or post trip inspections.First time rental at this location, no truck was on site because it was 45 minutes late with a trailer hooked to it. We were expected to unhook the trailer before leaving. The second time we rented from here opening the lock box was challenging because of the extreme cold weather. The vehicle was also not locked.I would never take a rental from here again.
