Canot à glace expérience
Once in a lifetime opportunity! We learned that ice canoeing is a uniquely Quebecois sport, an absolute must try if you are in town! Where else can you park on an ice berg to enjoy panoramic sunset views? It was exhilarating! Julien, Alex, Matteo, and Noël were amazing hosts and were able to give us instruction in English. Further, we always felt safe and taken care of. Practical note: we dressed as if we are going Nordic XC skiing or winter running and it was perfect. Ski socks worked great and stayed dry with the host’s special neoprene booties. The host will provide warm mittens, life vests, and special water-proof neoprene booties (think of a boot made of wetsuit material).

This is a truly Canadian experience, the staff was amazing very friendly and with totally knowledge about all the experience to help you feel vey confident and have fun!!

Canot à glace expérience
Fun experience… However, they advertised this as a 3 hour experience on their website, but it only lasted for a 1h 25mins on the canoe and it costed $517 for 2 people… very priceyyy, to say the least, for the amount of time spent on canoe!Please note, if you aren’t physically fit and also if weather isn’t that great, you may feel extra tired and you may not enjoy this experience… So just go prepared for any unforeseen situations…They do have good guides who provide some guidelines on how to row the canoe and provide you with some hot chocolate half way through, which is always nice! ☺️

We had a blast! Staff were amazing. The experience is a one of a kind. Also worth noting if you are an older traveler the staff are very considerate and helpful.

Did not know this was a thing, when I found out we just had to try. The experience was outer worldly, but what made it special was the warmth and excitement of Captains.

L'expérience d'une vie, tout simplement.C'est extraordinaire d'avoir accès à ce matériel et cette équipe pour pouvoir aller sur le fleuve, entre les glaces, sur la glace.L'équipe est agréable et compétente.Ma mère n'avait aucune expérience à la rame et a bien apprécié sa sortie. Il est donc inutile d'être un rameur expérimenté pour avoir du fun. Par contre cela reste une activité sportive, il faut donc être un minimum en bonne forme. Mais cela reste physiquement accessible.

A good friend and I were luck enough to experience an outing with this great company.Our guides were very experienced and friendly and explained all of the elements necessary for our full participation in 2 hours on the ice and water.I can't think of anything that would improve on their operation and I am very critical because of my age. (;-)Québec City is fortunate to have a company like Canot a Glace providing its guests with such a unique and 'once in a life time experience'It would be a mistake not to do an outing on the ice with this excellent operation. Life is too short.A special thanks to all involved in this wonderful morning on the ice.

Wow, what an incredible experience! Ice canoeing on the St. Lawrence River at sunset was an absolute dream come true. But what really made this experience special was the team and guides who hosted us. Their passion for the sport and knowledge of the area was truly impressive, and they made us feel right at home on the ice. The scenery was breathtaking and the entire experience was so much fun. It's a must-do if you're ever in Quebec!Thank you for making our trip so memorable!Definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
