GEM Painting & Finishing

We hired Gem1 to paint the exterior of our house which included everything from the brick to the vinyl siding to the soffits to the eavestrough to the patio stone to the doors, etc. Overall we had such an amazing experience from the start to the finish, and would highly recommend them to anyone!!Jerohmie and team were fantastic from the beginning. We took nearly a year to find the right painter for a more comprehensive and complex job, as we have gone through a lot of contractors for various renos in our house (and our experience varied). Given Gem1's reputation in the market, we had Jerohmie come by to give us a quote. It was a very smooth process to get the quote and understand what goes into it. You can tell he takes his craft really seriously and educates you along the way, including the type of paint and stain they would use on different surfaces. His team took 4 days to complete the job from a scheduled 5 days and worked with us when it was going to be raining one of those weekdays (and came in on the weekend to finish).We had such an amazing experience and loved the quality of the work! They truly turned around our house which is 50+ years old. Few things really stand out about Gem1: extremely responsive; professional service across the whole experience; well worth the money (they won't be the cheapest nor the most expensive, but provide the highest value in my opinion); and impeccable quality.Highly recommend!

Created two amazing custom accent walls in just one day! Very cleans lines and no flaws at all. Will use them again for sure.

From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank Jerohmie, Dee and Thomas for the immaculately done job with our 5 accent walls. We found a couple of designs on the internet, which were not simple designs at all. Jerohmie is up for absolutely any challenge! In fact, we gave him an idea of what we wanted and he put a brilliant twist on it! In the end, we ended up with a gorgeous unique design that was completed to perfection! Before they even started the work, Jerohmie and Dee took multiple trips to our home to make sure all the measurements were taken accurately.They are incredibly professional, reliable, efficient, punctual and detail oriented. Their customer service is outstanding! They really go above and beyond to make sure you are 200% happy and satisfied with every little detail. They were super patient with us as we explored various colours and ideas.They are honest, friendly and truly a pleasure to work with. We already have a couple of other projects in mind and are looking forward to work with them again!Cannot recommend them enough, a true rear GEM!!!

We hired Jerohmie and Dee to do a featured wall for our dining room and we’re very impressed with the final product that we hired them back to do more wall panelling in our home. Jerohmie made sure we were good with the design before getting too far into the process which we appreciated very much . They were also very easy to work with and fulfilled requests we had asked for the design. Jerohmie also went above and beyond to buy additional equipment to cut a piece of trim to fit above our windows! Overall we had a good experience and are very happy with the work they’ve done . Jerhomie and his crew are awesome. We have used them many times and plan to do so again and highly recommend them. On our most récent project they mud taped and sanded my basement project. They also removed the popcorn ceiling on all our main and upper floors last year. Great work.
