Fort Erie RONA

Rona Fort Erie is a great place for all your home needs, plumbing, electrical, renovation needs and lumber. All the staff are friendly and helpful can't beat Rona.

Not a great experience when you need something from the yard near closing time. Especially when they close so early.

Great super friendly staff. If they don't have it in stock theyre more than willing to order it for you. Very helpful. Jeff, who runs it is a great guy, always willing to help out and give you a competitive price. Someone who reviewed said they're hours but they weren't correct. Maybe it was COVID hours, But hey're currently open till 5:30 Monday to Friday, Saturday til 5 p.m. and Sunday they close at 3. Not the best hours, but that's probably why they're still so damn friendly.

Staff is great. Problem I have is you guys choose to close 4pm Saturday and close all day Sunday as if people don't do renos on Sunday their days off from work? So that just means I'm traveling to home depot now to get the materials to get the bathroom reno complete. Floors, vanities, shower trim, framing drywall , plumbing supplies, paint...etc. there's a few thousand not spent locally.

Let me first say that any comments about bad customer service should be completely ignored! I'm a single mom renovating my house with little to no knowledge of what the heck I'm doing. Every time I go to the Fort Erie Rona The staff takes extra time to explain to me how parts work, what tools might be needed and explain a step-by-step process on what I need to do. If a part is not available at their store, they've given me detailed instructions on what I need and send me somewhere that may have what I need in stock. They have been lifesavers!Thank you Fort Erie Rona staff for making these projects a lot less intimidating and giving me the confidence and advice to complete my tasks :)

First given wrong insulation product then returned and had to go with a different product for size.The gentleman in the yard said it had a different square footage but when I went to the desk so I could pay any difference I questioned the coverage and was told it was the same.I was happy to get a refund of almost $10 but when I unloaded it I found it was only half the Sq ft.Since I was already paying someone I decided to just push it and get more thus doubling my original expenditure. I decided to go online and found a product at Home Depot that had double the coverage for about $15 more. Needles to say with all this I won't be returning to Rona but will now deal elsewhere.I have been a loyal customer for years doing lots of renovation but this is ridiculous

Good prices. Also If you are unsure about what you are building. They always have great advice to help you through your project.

I cannot give this Rona any stars, but I could not post until I gave it one. The customer service at this location does not exist. This is my third trip to this store in the six years I have lived in Fort Erie. I keep thinking it will get better, but sadly no. I agree with the other review, drive to the Falls to Home Depot or Rona.
