Comfort Inn & Suites

Good experience during my recent 1-night stay. Only real disappointment was that I didn't get a ground floor room I requested with my online reservation. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean, although there was a very strong smell of some kind of lemon cleaner that persisted for a couple hours. Lots of good stuff in the room: coffee, fridge, microwave, toiletries, and an effective air conditioner. The bathroom was big and modern. The price was reasonable, and it was really easy to access the hotel from the highway. Nice big parking lot immediately beside a gas station. Recommended.

This was my stop from Nova Scotia to Ontario and back. Reception was nice and friendly, the rooms appeared clean. I liked my room on the way back a bit better as it didn't smell of hint of cigarettes even though it suppose to be smoke free. The elevator was a bit of a distance from the entrance, if you have a bit of mobility issues. There was breakfast, nothing special. Overall an ok place to stop for overnight rest. It's close to highway and gas station. Leaving the driveway to turn left I had no issues with traffic in the morning.

Room was an incredibly pleasant surprise, we booked late while on the road. The room was spacious even with a king bed & sofa, had a wonderful night's sleep..breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, choice of breads/bun/muffin/bagel, fresh waffles, choice of beverages: coffee, tea, juices. Staff were lovely and do a wonderful job at welcoming guests and maintaining the property. We'll definitely make a point of staying here again!!

I’m really disappointed. I travel everywhere with my dog and I’ve never ever been charged $50 a night for my dog. An extra $25 sucks but seems reasonable. The manager response was that “everyone here charges that much”. I’ve stayed right down town Quebec City and never paid $50. With the economy is way it is it is super upsetting to see companies I once followed gauging people to this extent. This will be my last comfort inn stay.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and I enjoyed the breakfast they had. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I loved the location, it's close to the highway, you can walk to Boston Pizza, a grocery store, a hardware store (my push start car remote battery died, car was armed so this was a life saver) & gas station is right there to gas up before getting back on the highway.

It was okay, just to spend the night, but it could be so much better.* The receptionist was polite. Quick check-in.* The room was clean, a good size, but a bit dark.* The beds and sheets smelled nothing but clean, and the pillows and mattresses were comfy.* There were some annoying noises during the night coming from neighboring rooms.* The check-out process was simple, with no issues.<<< Amenities overall seemed good, but the indoor pool was supposed to be heated, instead it was extremely cold, not enjoyable at all. >>>Room and Amenities:- Room: iron and ironing board available. Mini fridge and coffee maker with cups, coffee and consumables available.*** TV, ohhh... the TV. Brand was Konek (using Smart Hotel As A Service), and they had only a few generic channels available, only one or two for kids, sports and entertainment, most of them showing very old (classic) content that not even us, adults, were familiar with.<<< We tried to watch something to distract ourselves, but TBH all the channels were pretty boring, not interesting or entertaining at all. The TV was supposed to have a Chromecast device built in, to which you could stream content from your smartphone or computer using the hotel's Wi-Fi, but we attempted to stream from our devices, and the TV would always get stuck on the loading screen; tried many times, using different smartphones, also tried restarting the TV, nothing worked. In the end we got TIRED of trying and turned off the TV. >>>- Bathroom: clean but small; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were available in very tiny dispensers, just enough for two persons <<< and we were a family of four >>>; plenty of clean towels and a hair dryer were also available.- Common areas: clean, without particular odors in corridors.- Heated" indoor pool: The size of the pool was just fine
