Skeleton Lake Public Access
A great little beach location with an incredibly large sand-bar which extends out from the beach approximately 300m before it gets deep. The water is crystal clear. Great location for floating around, and since the water is very shallow, it's warmer sooner in the season. Don't forget that Skeleton Lake is one of the top cleanest lakes in North America.

The Sandy beach goes on forever! Great place for kids to play. The beach is non existent however, and the waterfront is quite buggy/swampy. Maybe not an Al day picnic area, but nice spot for a quick dip

Public area isn't huge but the sandy beach is quite long and provides more than enough space for swimming and sports. The water is crystal clear and you can walk out quite a distance before the drop-off. It's never crowded and has a porta potty for your needs.

Beautiful, well maintained public beach. We didn't bring our dog because we assumed dogs weren't allowed, but there was a family there with 4 big dogs.
