He earned our trust, didn't push or pressured us in anyway, and helped us work through our decision to buy in a situation that was far from clear. He considered our needs as a family and asked us questions throughout the process that clarified our decision making process. He's a good guy who was on it.

Archie came recommended by a friend and the experience from beginning to end was top-notch. We were based in Vancouver and buying a home on the island so it was particularly tricky. We met Archie on several visits and he felt very understanding, patient and familiar. It was more like shopping with a friend than a realtor. I believe he obviously has some background in construction/woodworking as he had a very detailed view on what to look for in some of the homes we were looking at. Great for first timers! After several visits to the island and viewing homes with Archie, we ended up buying a home via a virtual viewing due to time constraints. People were asking if I was crazy, making the biggest purchase of my life sight unseen, but I felt so confident by Archie's judgement and his understanding of not just what we wanted, but who we were as a family, that we were not worried at all. Once we set foot in the home that we had bought, it was exactly what we thought it would be and we were absolutely thrilled. Archie's follow up service after the purchase has been great. I truly believe he knows everyone in the Comox Valley and, as such, he has been able to recommend various services and businesses that have continued to provide us with confidence and ease. I strongly recommend that if you're looking for a realtor, at least give Archie a phone call and chance to help you on this big decision.

Archie is an old friend, and I called him for some advice about preparing my home for listing, not thinking that he could be my agent because of my location. After a short few minutes of talking with him it was clear that he had a deep understanding of the nuances of the housing market at what was a challenging time for sellers.
