Our A/C stopped working right as weather was starting to get warm. Kirkland sent a friendly technician, Dimitri to come and repair - he quickly assessed that it was a broken motor, and would order a new one right away.Dimitri came back next week to install, and he was awesome . He worked through what sounded like a pretty difficult repair - in crumby conditions wet and rainy, stooped under a deck for hours! Was always respectful, cleaned up and took to time to explain the work. Thanks Dimitri and Kirkland Heating & Cooling!

The Kirkland Heating and Cooling team were amazing to work with! We have a newborn baby and were looking for a unit to cool our master bedroom efficiently and quietly during the summer months without taking up too much space. The level of knowledge, experience and care from the entire team far exceeded my expectations. The install crew was friendly, professional and efficient and the ductless heat pump they recommended and installed works perfectly for our space. It’s so nice to be able to support a local family-run business who truly cares and delivers for its customers. Would highly recommend.

Best price, and best product we found on the market for a new boiler. Install was quick, clean, and works flawlessly. Annual maintenance is fairly priced, and not too hard to get an appointment. My inlaws have been using them for the better part of a few decades, and never any problems. Highly recommend.

Had a significant leak develop in the recirculating pump of my hot water/heating system and they contacted me very quickly after me emailing them, and had it completely repaired shortly thereafter.Great service and Mitch was very professional and explained everything very clearly. Thank you.

I had them work on my heating system 3 years ago and they did a fine job at that time. However, I have some problems now and have called and left 5 messages with the receptionist. Each time I've called she doesn't recall who I am and I have to reexplain the issue. She keeps saying she's left a message for Barney but he never returns a call. I finally complained to BBB and he called the next day. However, he said he would call back to schedule a service call but NEVER called back. I would not recommend them ever. Terrible customer service.

This is an update from my previous review a year ago.We purchased a second furnace from Kirkland. The quote included removal of hot water tank to allow removal of old furnace and reconnect hot water tank. The technicians started the job at 9:30am. They disconnected the water tank and placed it in the carport. No water leak was seen or reported. At 3:45pm, we were informed that there was a leak so they would not reconnect the water tank. We tried to reason with Barney (the owner) the fact that we didn’t have an issue prior to it being taken out; There was no leak when the tank was disconnected. We requested them to reconnect the tank as per his quote and if there was a leak we would make available a replacement tank that would be the same make and model. Barney informed us he would not install any tank purchased from other vendor, but he would install a new tank for me the very next morning for the cost of $2185 plus GST. We were SHOCKED!!At the end they reluctantly reconnected the old water tank but would not turn the water back on because of liability reason so they claimed.At this point we totally lost confidence in Kirkland. We sourced a plumber to install a new water tank the same night. A huge disappointment.

My experience with Kirkland was excellent. Barney, the owner/estimator, impressed me immediately with his no-nonsense approach. He was clearly very knowledgeable and professional, making Kirkland an easy choice for me. Their quote for a 2-zone ductless mini split was also less expensive than the larger companies. Installation took a bit longer than estimated, but everyone involved was very competent. In particular, Mitch took a lot of trouble assessing and explaining the different installation options to me. I was very glad for this serious discussion and together we made the exact right choice, based on his expertise. Mitch's strong work ethic was evident as he worked hard to complete, and Hosea, the new apprentice, was an able assistant. I am happy with my new air conditioner/heat pump which will now keep my home at the right comfort level. I no longer dread summer heat domes and cold winters. I also look forward to having Kirkland maintain my equipment.

Kirkland replaced our wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. Contrary to the negative comments, I found Kirkland most pleasant and honest to deal with. Unlike other fire place retailer, they were very forth coming and direct with rebate offered by the manufacturer. Best of all, it was installed the NEXT day. The installer Kyle and his helper were knowledgeable and respectful to our house. I highly recommend them.

Extremely bad experience. Tech came and stated I needed a replacement piece for my gas fireplace, would be in touch about timing and pricing. Heard nothing for several weeks. Called the main office and they stated they would follow up. Again, nothing after repeated attempts to contact them. This wasted several months of my time trying to get my fireplace repaired.

I have contacted 4 companies. Kirkland gave me most of the comfort and priced in the middle. When I checked with my neighbor who replaced their boiler few years ago. They also selected Kirkland.Kirkland did my boiler replacement in 2 days. They protected my carpets to the boiler room and cleaned the place afterward. They also fixed the leaks from my old copper pipes after the installation. I appreciate their professional, friendly and quality work.
