Lost all the lights on my truck. Made a quick call to the service dept, and got told to bring it right in. 30 minutes later, I was there, and the truck was in the bay being looked at. About an hour after that, truck was diagnosed, repaired, I was back on my way.Talk about efficient service! Minimal downtime, and I was back on the road.Thanks Surgenors!

Brought Motorhome to get brake pads replaced,wheel bearings greased, and a general inspection and grease job. They managed to break a tire stem on an inner rear tire that which had a pressure sensor on it. Tire went flat, and sensor was gone... They also did not install wheel covers correctly on the other side -- that's just lazy. I didn't notice until I got the motorhome home and noticed I wasn't getting an air pressure reading on one of the rear sensors...I returned with the MH to get the tire repaired and they managed to break another pressure sensor and installed the wrong valve extension that I can barely get at with my gauge. At least they paid for the sensor replacement and gave a partial refund on my labour (~$350 on a +$900 bill)...little substitute for my aggravation.If they cant be trusted to remove and install wheels (or even a wheel cover) without causing damage to the things (twice!), what hope is there that the rest of the job was done right. This has nothing to do with it being a Motorhome vs Truck as they kept telling me (they had two motorhomes in the shop so it's not like they've never seen them before)... It's simply incompetence and not paying attention. My business will be going elsewhere from now on.

I've been there for a safety certificate on a truck. The guy on the front was very polite and nice, but...They quote me over 12.000 in parts and labour for a truck that cost me less than 1000 to fix and certify somewhere else. Parts quoted on their invoice were in majority in good condition and not needed to be replaced. At the end of my bill was put a new article...miscellaneous $500". Really? Not even bother to invent a new special order pipe or washer?Thanks... but...NO!"

I go there for work. They're very friendly

Horrible. Google maps should start awarding negative stars and Surgenor would be a minus 10. They don't keep the customers trucks plugged in at -30*c. Took me 3 hours to get a boost while being stuck in their yard and we were only 2 on the list. I don't know why our company deals with them. They don't fix our fleet and don't follow up on their promises. We thought Ryder was giving us poor service. Compared to Surgenor, Ryder is a 5+ rating.

Mechanic, garage and trust are three words that don't usually go together. I have a hard time relying on anyone let alone a mechanic who's probably going to take advantage of me, which wouldn't happen at this shop. Since day 1 Surgenor has gone above and beyond - based on their standards of service I'll never go anywhere else again.

My battery light was on and off. Went in for diagnosis. They said my(less than a yr old) batteries were bad. Batteries were replaced and wiring cleaned. Truck has been good for a week but yesterday that battery light came on again. Looks like batteries weren't the problem and all that money I spent on new batteries was unnecessary.Turns out alternator was the problem. I changed it at Vision trucks in Hamilton and haven't had a problem since.The guy at Surgenor should have changed the alternator instead of making me unnecessarily spend money on a set of new batteries.
