John did an excellent job on my renovation! He was great at communicating about his schedule and the schedule of the various trades coming to work. When we ran up against some hiccups in the process, John was so good at walking me through all of my options and putting my mind at ease. My renovation was big; my kitchen, family room and two bathrooms. Despite the size and scope of the job, John was committed to staying on schedule and doing quality work! I am thrilled with how it all turned out. The attention to detail is amazing and everything looks even better than I imagined. I would highly recommend John/Hiar Homes!

Recently we did a renovation of our kitchen and family room using John at Hiar Homes as our contractor. We were very pleased with the process. John communicated well, was very well organized and was always available if we had questions or concerns. The job was done in a timely fashion and at the budget we stipulated ( we had heard stories about lengthy delays or cost over runs with some renovations but this was certainly not the case under John's leadership). We would not hesitate to recommend John at Hiar Homes to anyone considering a home renovation.

I highly recommend John of Hiar Homes as a painter. He is a master painter, thorough and careful resulting in a superb job. He is very professional, always keeping me informed of his schedule and alerting me to any concerns. This ensured that the contract was completed in a timely manner even though we were confronted with some very snowy days. HIAR Homes took our VERY rough backyard space and a concept drawing and created a deck that has become an extension of our home. They did a beautiful job of blending the new deck with the existing rock walls. The project was extremely successful and our family could not have been more pleased with their new outdoor space. Thank you to John and team for their excellent service, meeting our timeline/budget, and handling all the subcontactors, while understanding our needs through the project.
